That a boy willy. In OT he's probably the best at 3 vs 3 on the Leafs.
Nylander is a beast. We should trade him for a package of depth players and picks
Starting Kampf just works in 3 on 3. It's not a big deal Keefe started Matthews Marner earlier in pre season. Just see but we have enough of a sample size and Keefe knows it too.

Just so many smart little plays you don’t usually see from such a young player. Very impressed.Minten looks good as the 3rd line centre. That entire line had good chemistry.
No, but I think getting Marner out there without Matthews is the right track. Marner tends to look for Mathews in OT too much, leading to dumb mistakes that end up costing them. Maybe experiment with other guys who can take faceoffs?Kampff didnt do jack
Why do you have what is clearly the 4th line listed as the 3rd line?
He was good. Played the PK and on for the last part of regulation. Didn't hear his name much which is good.So how was Holl tonight? Did he played?
I love it. If he makes the team there will be plenty of nights where he is outmatched but there is something about him that just seems right for nhl development immediately. 9 games at least.
Really torn on the Minten decision. He has played well, and on merrit he's been one of our best 12 forwards. He's also the type of player who could succeed in the NHL as a teenager with his size, IQ, and maturity, and has shown great chemistry with Knies. But his offensive development may be delayed by his current role much like with a guy like Couturier early in his career, when he was deployed in a checking/energy role.
At this point if you can make it work cap wise I feel like just giving him the 9 games would be good, even if to just give him a taste. I think he'd benefit overall and go back and torch junior after
