Jones has been absolutely fine. he had a bad game today but he's like 19th on the list of issues with this team right now
He should have moved up with Schneider. For some reason, even with Trouba and Miller gone, he's slotted #6. Jones wasn't good today but neither was Mancini.

This is my new chair for watching games.

It’s appropriate because you have the best seat in the house as other teams screw the Rangers

I erroneously thought that moving ONLY Trouba would fix the team. Drury please move Lindgren too - two birds just the same as with Trouba. Then see if it gets the effect and if not - identify the next piece to move. It’s ok to have a reset season. Luckily we have a 1st in the upcoming draft (please tell me I’m not wrong)
Getting rid of Lindgren and Trouba will help in due time, but right now, the guys that have gone in for Trouba and Miller (not Lindgren but same idea) aren't NHL players.

Wherever the keg is!
i don't think you realize you're doing it.

i'm not talking about Kakko. At all.

moving on: You're saying you want Laf to get more opportunity. He has not earned more opportunity. He's playing stinky hockey.

So we can keep doing what we're currently doing, which is running the same PP1 in the hopes they finally gel again like they did last season...but that's glossing over the fact that Zibs on the bumper has been dog shit for far longer than that, and this is the worst Kreider has played.

Or we can actually put new players in (Like Laf) and start actually deciding if he's a player we can actually count on or his prior season was a flash in the pan...hence the, again, boot him to Montreal comment.

DId you all catch Trocheck after the game? He was asked if the team lacked focus and flat out stated that they were focusing on things that had nothing to do with game prep or actually playing.

Drury's press leak had its intended effect. He well and truly detonated a nuke in the locker room.

Give away the two biggest physical player in Goodrow and Truba in an already no physical team and this is what you get.

This is what I mean by Rangers fans wanting toughness for toughness sake.

Mentally soft millionaires.

Drury needs to fire Lavi and take the coaching spot himself just to rub in what a joke org this is. He'd be the first President, GM and NHL coach in history. Or maybe some other asshole beat him to it dunno.
I believe that honor belongs to Doug Maclean

The team just isnt that good. They have players that are aging and declining, especially Mika but also Kreider and Trocheck. And a defense thats laughable especially Lindgren and Miller, but Fox also not good. Honestly, its 50% we dont even make the playoffs. And with Mika's contract, he's impossible to get rid of. The whole situation is depressing but I find distraction and enjoyment watching european soccer. Got the Napoli v Udinese game taped so adiós muchachos.
The team is loaded with talent. They are lacking chemistry and grit.

The players performing above expectations this season are as follows.......

Will Cuylle
Victor Mancini

And that is it.

Long gone are the days of heart and soul players on this team. At one point, Lindgren used to be. Those days are over.

The rest are too mercurial and sensitive to deal with any adversity. The result is always to coast and get a coach fired. This still may happen but the core is rotten and needs to be broken at all levels.

When we had the letter, we had to deal with losing players who, despite their contracts being too rich for declining players, would do anything to win. Look at those teams in the early and mid 2010s. People used to crap on Rick Nash......hell he'd be the hardest working player not named Cuylle or Berard on this team.

Kreider has to go. He had a nice run of being a legit 1st line player, clutch playoff performer, but to me he will always be remembered for taking so many nights off during his first 8-9 years here.

I don't think I've ever witnessed a rapid decline like ZBad as a Ranger and I go back to 88-89. A few years ago he had 41 goals in 57 games. Now he plays like he is on one of the 97-98 to 03-04 teams. The talent is there. The drive is not.

At this point I'd be taking offers on anyone not named Cuylle. We are back to being a team of aging players collecting large paychecks with NMC and NTC securities.

Zero leadership. And it starts with a GM who also played as a NYR captain who was overpaid, aging out, and underperforming, let alone showing zero emotion or accountability on a few mediocre teams. Funny how fate now has a bunch of Chris Drury's on the team.

Yeah I do.

But at this point so does most of the roster.
Why give in to these spoiled prima donnas? Right now if the rangers had any actual long term vision, they should be weeding out the problem players and trying to get rid of them as soon as possible, because even if they do fire Lav and Drury, it’s only a matter of time until they want the next coach & Gm gone for whatever reason.

This might be the most profound statement posted here regarding the teams troubles.

As a Kings fan, I thought the Rangers troubles were overblown and just early season ups and downs. That might have been the worst coverage I’ve seen all season on a few of those goals. Does really seem to be a lack of effort or focus.
Seemed like several of the goals off the rush, the Rangers had enough guys back, but they always left someone open, and after a pass to that guy, they left everyone open. Really remarkable stuff.

It can be all of the above.

It should be all of the above. Lavi's got a shit situation but he isn't making it any better by continuing to cater to his vets.

At this point, I hope fans throw their Rangers jerseys on the ice at the next game at MSG. Heck at this point throw random items so it would hit the players in rhe head
