I asked a simple question about Kapenen and y'all lost your minds because I used Nylander as a measuring stick. It doesn't have to mean that Nylander is bad it could mean that Kapenen had a stretch of real good production.

But it's has to be Leafs fans constantly bitchin about how hard the world is on them. EVERY DAMN THREAD.

Pretty safe to say that if Kapanen can’t produce on PIT, he just can’t produce.

Crosby and Malkin have made a career out of elevating mediocre wingers. How Nylander vs. Kapanen is even a question is beyond me. He’s probably closer to Alex than William.

That's not necessarily true. Alex Nylander is pretty much a bust.

Kasperi Kapanen is a 2nd/3rd line tweener capable of 30-40 points. Last year he had 30 points in 40 games. This year he's got 30 points in 68 games. How much of that is a change in puck luck, usage or an injury? I don't know. He's playing with Jeff Carter more than Malkin or Crosby from what I'm seeing in thedailypuck line combos.

I mean, that would be a huge overpayment for us since Kapanen is better than Nylander, but I prefer Nylander‘s silky blonde flow over Kapanen’s dirty moustache. So that’s worth the extra ~ $4M on the cap for us.
