Actually Glenny is Holland's boy i actually thought he would even get a longer deal then this like 5-6 years. $1.8M AAV. Isn't to bad i guess.

Yeah i think the $1.8M deal is worth what he brings to the table. He's a pretty decent 4th line Center/Forward.

Yup Detroit to many Forwards Anaheim to many D men hopefully a trade is going to happen with those 2 teams.

If i had a list of prototype 4th liners and players who i'd want on my 4th line, Glendening would be up there. Underrated player and good deal.

The guy is great defensively, does everything for the team and can also play hockey. He had 20 pts for Detroit last year, 12 goals in 14-15 and before that 54 points in 96 AHL regular+playoff games. Also won the Calder Cup and NCAA championship. Exactly the type of player who could be considered unsung hero in a deep playoff run (if the Red Wings even manage to do that in the next 5 years).
