Not only do you score 4, you allow 5 on 20 f***ing shots. I can't believe there is more anger over Will Borgen's 4 million than one of the worst goalies in the f***ing league getting paid like he's the love child of Hasek and Brodeur.

Zibanejad makes a dumbass decision every time he touches it.

It’s kind of incredible the rangers have turned the season around with Zibanejad and Kreider playing at below replacement level. Kreider, Zibanejad, Lindgren out and replaced with good players and this team might be in business.

Agreed. Shit situational awareness. Three of our players were below the dots. Either shoot the f***ing puck or just cycle it back to Miller who's got no one on him.

I do not know if I would 100% blame Borgs on that play. He was already passing to Bread and Makar came out of nowhere. Guys should have been yelling on the bench. Borgs probably did not even see him coming till it was too late. Vince hustled to try to get back. Bread did not. I would put a good share of the blame on Bread.

Edit: I just watched the play again. I would put 75% of the blame on Bread for that play. That was a ridiculously bad effort on his part.

Borgen has to know when the guy is being released. Even if Makar doesn't intercept that, he's behind Borgen with Miller in deep. A shot at net that's blocked turns into a breakaway against. He needs to throw that into the corner and get his butt back to defend the guy coming out of the box.

Borgen couldn't shoot it because Kiviranta had the lane shut. And he failed to see Makar in his peripheral vision. Holding the puck or rimming it on the wall would've been best.

I agree but I'm not on the ice. I do not know if the bench is screaming that the PP is ending nor if Bread is calling for the puck. Misguided play on Borgs but if you watch the clip its Bread that I can not take as a coach. When the pass is intercepted they are not in horrible shape. Look across the line of play inside the Avs blueline. It was Breads man flying by him that was the killer. Borgen had the 2 on 1 played right. As much as I like Bread that goal probably does not happen if he skates back.

The guy has cost us at least two f***ing points against the Avs. I just can't f***ing stand this mental midget. Dude is goalie Mika. But more talented so an even bigger headcase. Maybe goalie EP40. I just can't f***ing stand him and can't wait until his contract is over and he's off this team.

Chris Kreider is averaging 17:30 of TOI over 41 games with 2 assists.
Matt Rempe is averaging just under 7:00 of TOI over 14 games also with 2 assists.

If Kreider is hurt, he should sit.
If he disengaged, he should sit.
If he’s cooked, he should sit.

Addition by subtraction.
A healthy Brodzinski/Vesey is a better option to whatever version of Kreider we are getting.
Edstrom or Cuylle can take his place on the power play and stand in front of the net.

I think you guys give goalies that play against us too much credit. Blackwood made some good saves, but how difficult do our shooters really make it for the goalies? Especially when they give up big rebounds that we can't ever capitalize on.

I can't name one Ranger that can shoot better than Makar does from the blueline, let alone name any shooter on this team with a better shot than Mack, Necas, etc, etc, etc, etc...

He shoots and if 62 or 42 can fire that puck out, it's a breakaway. That puck needs to be in that right corner where Miller can waste some time allowing Borgen to get back to prevent Makar from receiving the long pass.
