It's a great show; a lot of the hockey "slang" we hear now comes from it (e.g., "forecheck, back-check, paycheck"). The jocks (Reilly and Jonesy) are the best.

Lavi was going for the win in regulation, by double shifting the first PP unit. It didn’t work, 2nd unit was exhausted by the end, and well that’s that. Getting late in the season, need all the points possible. Would have just played it safe, normal routine PP. If they scored a goal, great. If not just get it to OT, and try and get the 2nd point later.

I'm blaming Zib over Borgen for that one. At least Borgen contributed all game. I swear I see stink lines coming through the TV around Zib whenever he's out there. The sad loserish play in him permeates the screen.

In all of my years of Rangers fandom (55 and I'm 64) I don't believe that I have EVER had a player that I was so very supportive of, I mean I was even going to buy his Jersey after signing that contract. Oh boy, am i happy I didn't. I need a sure thing when buying a jersey.
(in other words, I am not a collector, I just wanna be PROUD of wearing that Jersey).

Losing your abilities when approaching the 35-38 ages is one thing, but last I checked he isn't even close to that. We all knew that contract wouldn't age well, but man he woke up one day and suddenly realized he's playing like a 42 year old.

Divorce your wife, get 1/4 custody of your child (based on how you're playing) and realize your priorities.. Haha, surely I am half jesting. Just get it together Mika, I wish you to be a Rangers hero, not a Rangers ZERO, like many others prior to you.

They're stupid if they say it's Miller's "fault" but I dimply don't understand what he's doing down deep, he's a defenseman with major speed that should be up top....just in case. Funny how Tro is killing himself to be in front, with absolutely NO chance or wherewithal to get it there some friggin how! wouldn't that be the best time to get it in front, or be passive KNOWING their 5th guy is coming out soon? Even though he's not wrong, it's still super cringey to call out players like this as a former pro. We live in an era where our most embarrassing moments can be highlighted & turned into a 15 second clip for all to see. I doubt Avery would like it if the shoe was on the other foot.
