An adult that knew there wasn't actually a kid in the container. Look how easily its pushed down the stairs. The kid basically chucks it. They spliced it together after the kid got out of the container.

If you look closely at the edge of the tub nearest the camera when it's at the bottom of the stairs, there's an obvious cut where the the tub shifts left from one frame to another right before the kid pops out. They weren't able to get the kid filled tub positioned exactly where the empty tub landed.
