Can we talk about how genius that move looks now, to have the 4th line take the first shift? They never let San Jose clear the zone and converted into a crucial goal. I love the way that line is constructed. Steen has embraced that role and it’s really given them some punch to mix him with a couple faster guys with adequate skill.

It would have been natural to put Blais on the 4th line and slide Steen up. But that would have been the wrong choice.
