Not usually...and not while micro dosing.
But while regular dosing, I know some people that would puke right as it started to hit them...like 45 mins after eating...but then felt fine.
I've never felt nauseous from it like I occasionally do with alcohol.
I've never felt that nausea while micro-dosing, but definitely have felt it taking larger amounts. I usually need to take a wicked piss as I start to come up though!
When I first started taking them, someone explained it to me this way: Psilocybin is very sensory focused, and your body does a whole lot of things our brains normally wouldn't focus on - like how much your stomach is churning. All of a sudden, you become hyper aware of it, and in comes the nausea.
How true that is? I couldn't honestly say.
Micro-dosing is a fun state to be in - everything seems a little more elevated and colourful, and then every now and again you'll get that rush of blood behind your ears that reminds you you're tripping a bit.
The biggest risk to me is a bad trip, which sucks. Easily mitigated by being in the right environment with the right people. I would never trip with someone with high anxiety or that is currently depressed, or otherwise a manic, busy person. I prefer comfortable spaces vs being outside
Not true whatsoever. Good teams go on small slumps like this all the time. What matters is how often, and how long these slumps are.
We've had a pretty good season so far, which is why we're still very much in the playoff picture despite this slump.
Right now, the slump is slightly concerning, but all it takes is a couple wins to right the ship and the mood swings the other way.
Of course they do - ours is just really bad timing. The truth is, we're running out of runway, and every game we lose now makes it that much harder later. I'd say the 25 game is a good milestone for feeling a bit of panic: Ideally, we gain another 30 points across those 25 games to get to 92 on the season.
While our remaining schedule is light comparatively, we still play good teams and have a ton of inter-division/conference games coming up which just amplifies the problem.
What's particularly frustrating is how well the team has done before this skid to set themselves up for success. We really needed to win one of the games on the Florida trip, as well as the game against Mtl. If we had done that, we'd still be in a wildcard spot. Now we're 4 pts back of Detroit. Ugh.
