He reminds me of a poor man's Josh Anderson.

You would think a 6'3 speedy skater with a laser beam of a shot would make things happen out there but he really doesn't.

If he wants to come back for less it's probably worth giving him a full year with the Habs to see if he can show more, but I'm pretty lukewarm on him.

Anderson made the league as a regular at 22 years old!

Slafkovsky is so ahead of him in his developmental curve it's not even funny...

Slaf would definitely learn a thing or two while playing with Monahan.

I would actually like to see a Slaf-Monahan-Gallagher line out there.

Two vets that play hard to show the way to the skilled kid.

Decent group for our transition year to come. If this group stays healthy, they might surprise and move into that bubble wild card group.

Very curious on what we do with Hoffman, Eddy, Armia. I'm assuming 2 or all 3 are gone this summer.

No idea if Gurianov is still going to be with us or not. Where does he fit? On the 4th line with Dvorak and one of Farrell or Heineman are in the AHL?

Yeah, I have Dubois listed still. Holding onto hope until it don't happen.

Caufield / Suzuki / Anderson
RHP / Dubois / Dach
Slaf / Monahan / Gallagher
Farrell / Dvorak / Heineman

Evans, Armia

Guy drives me crazy.....................looks like a superstar one night, and gone for 4 games.....total MIA?

We shouldn't keep both Armia and Gurianov at the same time; one is enough. They are so inconsistent; one night they look like a superstar, the other night they look like an AHLer.
I slightly prefer Gurianov.

I would be open to give me a full season but it's hard to find him a spot in our roster.

If only we could get rid of our deadweight (Gallagher, Armia etc...).

For me he has to verbally commit to undergoing a summer of training on how to win board battles and not turn the puck over.

Then he has to demonstrate in camp he's improved in those areas.

Then I waive Hoffman and Armia to get him in the lineup. There will be other moves but for now:

Caufield-Suzuki-Dvo/Monahan
RHP-Dach-Anderson
Slaf-Dvo/Monahan-GURIANOV
Gallagher-Evans-Ylonen

I don't think anyone on this board will be against him becoming Jagr!
He needs to start working on his hair. It's a process.

RHP is giving me more Marchessault/Gourde vibes than Desharnais vibes. But it's early.
My dream is to see the greatest center that Max Pacioretty has ever played with reincarnate in another Habs player. RHP it is! Go for it!!! Oh man... I am getting all tingly just thinking about this.

Can you imagine calling yourself a GM, with a generational goalie, all star frwds and D, along with $9M in extra cap space, all your draft picks and the best 1C you can ice is Desharnais?
