He's at his best on the powerplay in the right circle and he likes to use his one-timmer. He could be a very good winger for Dach if he pans out. He's produced before and he's still young, that's something to get excited about. If he pans out he's found gold, if he busts it's no sweat off our back. Good move by HuGo once again. Keep the good times rolling.

His top ceiling is literally Armia and Armia is on our 4th line.
I don'T have any expectation for him , perhaps score a goal to make the media wet and talk about him for 3 more weeks.

We need to get rid of contracts at the end of the season and he will be in the box with others.
More like his FLOOR is Armia and his ceiling is Anderson at his best.

And it’s entirely possible Habs don’t tender him a QO, but that we will only know at a later date. You can’t come on here and blab shit as fact before it happens and expect us to take you seriously.

Did the same for Dach. Sometimes I wonder if he's a fan of the team. Can't like management either with that avatar.

He's 26 and cap has a 30 points player and had top 6 minutes.
I can blab shit if im right , which im sure I am.

Surely Dallas let go Gurianov for the mighty Dadonov who plays 1 game out of 30

Sometimes it's just about a refresh
yup....and that's what we are about to find out.

I love Gurianov's potential, but I also know he may Galchenyuk us........so refresh and press play and we'll see if the wheels get traction and we get something worth keeping.

I honestly feel good about St-Louis mentoring him and I hope it works out as 6'3 wingers with speed and skill are not in abundance with the Canadians

He could be Anderson, he could be Armia, we may let him walk in 20 games. But we got him for free (Dadonov was a cap dump to us). Worst case is we got rid of Weber for nothing. It's still a win.

He may be an effective 3rd liner for us which would be an absolute W.

He'll be gone at the end of the season but it's worth it to not have to watch Dadonov anymore.
Not necessarily.

If they don’t like what he brings they let him go but i think they offer him a contract at the end of the year, otherwise they would’ve probably taken a 5-6th pick instead.

Intriguing potential

Something clearly went off the rails this yr especially when you look at the previous 3 yrs.

Mtl has the time and roster spot available to give him the opportunity to at least recapture last yrs form. If he does that, its a huge win. If not, tank on

What's great about this is we can't lose this trade...

That being said, i'm happy we went for him instead of Poolparty as a reclamation project.

From his goals highlights, what i can get of it is incredible speed and his shot on the PP. Add size to this and you get great mix of qualities for a middle six player with PP time. For whatever reasons, he couldn't put it all together. Motivation?? IQ?? I guess we will see. But Habs are in this situation that can give him all the opportunities to succeed. Like it did for Dach.

Again, i like this move.

I like that idea. That's a new challenge for St-Louis. Gurianov is somehow similar to Galchenyuk. On a road, he's at a T. He may turn right or he may turn left. It's on him to pick the good direction. Galchenyuk picked the wrong direction. Gurianov can pick the good direction, with the help of MSL. Dallas gave up on Gur, it's them, Dallas can make mistakes.
