Feel like this is going to be a yearly thread, and every year sennecke is going to get more and more votes.
If you want to have a laugh read projections for Montreal's prospects 5 - 10 years ago. Not trying to ridicule, just take it with a grain of salt, it's probably been like this for a long time.“Canadiens fans pump the tires of their most recent first round pick saying he’s better than someone selected earlier” is already a yearly thread.
Not a Habs fan, but I think Demidov has the highest offensive ceiling in the class.“Canadiens fans pump the tires of their most recent first round pick saying he’s better than someone selected earlier” is already a yearly thread.
Same can be said about every other team...If you want to have a laugh read projections for Montreal's prospects 5 - 10 years ago. Not trying to ridicule, just take it with a grain of salt, it's probably been like this for a long time.
So, honest question, I really no nothing about either player. Simple question though, if ID is a better player and it's not close, why would BS have been picked ahead of ID in the draft 5 months ago? Perhaps you already answered that in that BS was picked because he has higher upside (potentially) and suggestion is simply that ID is better right now?BS was selected 3rd because of all the tools he has and the potential he brings, but I think Demidov is a noticeably better player now and is much more likely to hit his potential than Sennecke.
It's ID and it's not terribly close right now.
BS could become a prototypical power forward. Good size, decent skater, amazing set of mitts. So, honest question, I really no nothing about either player.
