I was referring to just Carlson on a 2 year deal. Maybe it wasn't clear.

Kind of crazy to think he was a full-time (51 games) AHLer in the 22/23 season.

Don’t know much about him except statistically he had me intrigued this season.

Raddysh is a Toronto native and grew up a huge Leaf fan. I know you have this love of trashing on everything Leafs, but at least keep it somewhat reasonable.

He is not wrong and not trashing the Leafs in that post. Love to sign Raddysh but it will take an overpay unless he is set on wanting to play close to his family. Even then, Leafs will pay. See UFA Tavares.

I would imagine that the Devils will be more likely to try to move Pesce or Kovacevic than Hamilton now with Mehta at the helm. Both have NTC's though so who knows.

Who knows what the Devils were trying to get for him. I imagine they saw the Seth Jones trade and wanted similar value but Tre had no more 1st round picks to give (nor was Hamilton worth it).

I don’t trust Raddysh at all. Career year at age 29 just in time to get paid. Such a huge huge huge gamble.

Impossible for three reasons:

1. Devils have both Markstrom and Allen locked up long term which is crazy given their age.

2. Devils have Hughes to play PP1 and Rielly would be PP1 on a bunch of teams out west.

3. Rielly would probably much prefer a place like LA/SJ/Vegas that will be more in need of offense from their D over living in New Jersey for the next four seasons.

Give me Raddysh or Carlson (2 year deal).

Scares the Hell out of me that the Leafs might give Raddysh a big ticket contract based off 1 great year. Before this year, he had 37 points and 33 points. This feels a lot like the year Nik Kulemin scored 30 something goals and people were calling him a sniper. Just because Raddysh had a career year in his contract year, is no reason to give this guy top dollar. There is nothing in his past, since he hit the pro's in 2017-18, that suggest he is a PPG NHL d-man. the guy is at best a 3D and at worse a 5D.

Scouting Report​

Is very resilient, since he worked hard to reach the National Hockey League as an undrafted free agent. Moves the puck well and has a history of producing good offense at lower levels (OHL - Junior). Also displays good size for the highest level. Lacks consistency in his game, although he is improving in that area.​
