Stempniak hasn't been the same since the foot injury really. He's been quite mediocre overall and has had terrible production.

Bit of a catch-22 with the offense and defense. If they open up the style to what it was earlier in the season, then Berra's and Ramo's numbers will suffer but guys like Stempniak, Stajan and Cammalleri's numbers will go up increasing their trade value (and also increasingly the number of people wanting to re-sign them).

On the flip side, they can keep playing defensively, but of course, the offense suffers, the Flames will get less in return when trading their UFA's, but it also increases support for letting them go.

Wonder what it's like to have a team that can defend and score. Must be nice.

Apparently, a major international network is going to be entering Canada and the government is making it easy for them to do so. The major Canadian networks started making ads about how it was unfair and bad for Canada, so now the Canadian government is making ads about how it's better for Canadians.
