So where is a good place for a speed test? Pretty sure my internet is bad here in the woods.
That was a terrible turnover by Monahan. His defensive ability was really oversold in the weeks coming up to the draft.

He is 19 years old in the NHL. He is not going to be a wizard right away. In the hole he was a wizard.
Yeah, the directors cut is one of my favourites.
Basically, the big three in Telus, Bell and Rogers aren't happy that their ability to gouge consumers might be coming to an end. Woe is them.
This hybrid icing is starting to piss me off
The big 3 aren't happy because the American company (verizon I think) gets to use and piggy back off the infrastructrure that the big 3 built.
Good thing the early whistle prevented a collision on that play. Let me get this straight, the new rules don't prevent collisions, and also don't get the call right? I'm not a fan.
I hate that telus panda ad.
I'm not saying I'm expecting him to immediately be Toews or Jordan Staal. I'm just expecting him to do slightly better in those sorts of situations. Even Baertschi was better defensively when he was with the big club this season. For someone who was touted as an incredible two-way player, I haven't seen really any inkling of two-way potential out of Monahan.
EDIT: Okay, that last sentence was an exaggeration. But what I'm trying to say is that his two-way game is not where it should be for a rookie who was identified as one of the best defensive centres in the draft.
