Don’t see Krieder waving or Ottawa acceptingKreider, Halak and a 2nd
I see what you did here.Kreider, Halak and a 2nd
More love? That joke was played out years ago.I see what you did here.
This post deserves alot more love.
king fan here with dreams of a fila kopi Debrincat line. whats the price for la?
The best match for a trade would be a team that has trouble scoring, and has a top prospect defenseman to trade back. Does LA have a good goalie prospect?Given their needs, I'd guess Clarke.

Do people really think Dorian traded for DeBrincat and isn't going to try his best to sign him long term? The only reason he's dealt is if he wants out IMO.
Leafs losing to bad teams...................makes the Leafs what? Pretenders, again....we get it.That was media driven hysteria lol. They went nuts because the Leafs lost to some bad teams. The Leafs 3 games ago had a better record than the year before when they finished with 110+ points.
Comparing the Leafs start to the Sens doesn't make any sense.
Plus, Detroit and Buffalo are also playing extremely well. I can't see them with that goaltending come back and leapfrog over the already established teams like Boston, Toronto, Florida, Tampa + do better than Detroit or the Sabres to snag a wild card or divisional spot.
13-14 games in, and this is your version of what will go down?I think it's now pretty clear that the only race the Senators will contend in is the race for Bedard.
What do you guys think Debrincat can fetch at the deadline? They didn't pay a lot to get him and he's not able to really score without an elite playmaker which the Sens don't have.
Imagine him on a team with McDavid, Marner, MacKinnon, Kucherov etc?
I bet teams will be lining up to get him at 50% retained and the Sens will get more than they paid to get him most likely.
I feel like its very glaring now that Ottawa invested too much in the top 6 - you have guys that are far too good to get 45 seconds of PP2 time a night. Dorian needs to invest in the D. Signing Cat would would make that difficult.Do people really think Dorian traded for DeBrincat and isn't going to try his best to sign him long term? In September, there was an article that he did not want to negotiate a new deal and wanted to play the season. Why do they have to trade him?
Poor troll attempt.
Sort of true. He said publically he wasn't going to sign right away. He wanted to play this year to make sure he had chemistry with those who are already signed long term.In September, there was an article that he did not want to negotiate a new deal and wanted to play the season.
He is an RFA and must be qualified by Sens - at 9m. DeBrincat could bet on himself take the 9m in 23-24 and become a UFA in 24-25.
I'm not convinced that the Blues will both do a rebuild and get rid of a Parayko. I think that is a long shot and there's other ways that Armstrong could address his cap issues next summer. Armstrong's Nov. 1 press conference didn't sound like a GM planning a rebuild. But its OK to dream I suppose.Wonder if a 3-way could get done involving Parayko?
This is not necessarily true - if he decides to take a similar route that Tkachuk took- Sens can score like the Flames didIMO Dorion repeated the mistake he made with the Duchene trade in a way.
The circumstances are different (coming out of a rebuild vs having just made the SCF) but he once again misevaluated his own roster and how good and ready it was.
Trading DeBrincat makes sense but he will most likely never get back close to what he paid (like with Duchene).
The truth is that you realistically do not want to be the team that dishes out a giant contract to DeBrincat.
I think he is an amazing player but due to the nature of his game (goalscorer that puts up numbers but plays the least valuable position and has deficiencies in the rest of his game), odds are that he is a contract you will regret down the line.

First off Kreider isn't waiving for any Canadian team especially for Ottawa, And the NYR don't have around $9,000,000 to $10,000,000 per long term to commit to Alex DeBrincat.Kreider, Halak and a 2nd
