Stairway To Heaven
I was the only one who thought that about Filip Zadina and it was pretty much the same issues I have with Hughes.
I'll remember to remind you of these posts when Hughes is a superstar.

I've been wrong before.I'll remember to remind you of these posts when Hughes is a superstar.
I see a lot of similarities in Jack Hughes to Patrick Kane. Fast but can slow the game down, great vision but can also score in bunches himself. I think he's a great prospect and if he can get stronger he's going to be a star. I also think Kaako is going to be a star. 1-2 in this draft has got to be the best since Matthews/Laine.You are literally the only person I know that thinks this way about him. The kid is going to be a star.
The Zibanejad trade is still the best move Gorton made but the Nash trade was good too.Smith getting those games as forward really elevated his game. Looked last night like the player we signed to his contract.
Namestnikov is really turning into one of my favorites. Hes gotten a morale boost lately and competes every night.
Hajek with his first tally, way to go!
Last but not least, im not sure how Edmontons asset management are even at an NHL level.
Ryan Strome is a waaaay better hockey player than Spooner, he is really showing that he wants to be here and are impressing me more and more each game.
Nash’s return in Strome, K’Andre Miller and Ryan Lindgren is in my eyes the best trade that Gorts have made. I really hope Boston enjoyed the 20 games of Rickety Rick.
This tanking stuff becomes an obsession if people let it. Today it's "logic", tomorrow it's this:We’ve lost 6 in a row and just rallied to beat one of 5 teams that are noticeably worse in the standings than his.
Really not going to lose sleep over this.
Now the ending to the Game of Thrones game I just played? Yeah, that **** has me questioning my choices and upset that there will be no Season 2.
I like Buch and root for this talented kid.....he is "getting there", and is starting to remind me of Kreider (not talent wise) in that we are all just going to have to be patient. And that includes the Rangers. It would be quite the gamble to "lock him up".Buch has turned it up lately which is good news for the odds of NYR giving him a new contract.
Seems almost certain that we bridge-deal him though. I'd be shocked if they trusted him enough to go in on a long term contract just yet.

Don't think anyone thought you meant the injury. I just hope to God, its not a bad injury. McD had a bad shoulder injury if I recall. As did Jagrmeister. Would be a crying shame, as he would be losing this experience. The goal was the injury wasnt![]()
Actually, top to bottom, it might be the best draft ever.
It just doesn't have that one player whose destiny was decided at age 15 (Tavares, Doughty, McDavid, MacKinnon, etc.)

Things are already starting to seem a little off around here ... some dickweed on the Devils injures one of the Rangers' most promising defensive prospects, and the thing everyone is upset about is winning the game?
Okay, so which one of you has that crystal ball? Give it back! This in combination with your Jack Hughes takes….. Might be top 10 garbage takes i've seen, this draft isn't Close to being "best draft ever", it's average at best imo. And Jack Hughes (while my #2) has a really high hockey IQ and saying he's just fast is just ridiculous.
Are you ****ing kidding me? I saw the 2-0 score earlier and was so relieved. We ended up winning?
Wake me up at the draft lottery, I’m done with these bull**** “pity points” in must-lose games.
I want to see the “always play to win” / “always root for your team to win” crowd’s reactions when the Devils walk away with Kaapo Kakko and we end up with more middle-6 fillers from this draft.
Games like this are the reason this franchise may not win a Cup in our lifetimes.
Don’t mean to sound dramatic but the frustration is just overwhelming at this point. If we’re going to sell off almost every good player we have for multiple seasons in a row, we’re supposed to draft in the top 3-5, not 7th-10th every year.
Have you ever played a sport ever? Have you ever played a sport with the intention of going out to lose? This is an absurd post. These guys are paid to be professionals
