Anybody here familiar with Tablets? I've put off buying a laptop for the longest time, and I think I'm finally going to take the plunge with a Tablet. My ideal device would be:

- Android
- Fast CPU
- Lightweight & thin (7" or 10" doesn't matter much)
- Have an easy to use keyboard plugin
- Under $500

Any suggestions? I don't need 3G/4G, just Wifi. Amount of storage isn't a huge problem either.
Microsoft Surface!

Oh.. under $500.

Asus Transformer Infinity. Top end of your price range but it is damn nice. The Prime is a step down in price (and performance) but is still a great tablet. Plus it has the expandable memory that the Nexus lacks.

I've got an iPad myself but would have bought the infinity with my tax return had it not been a Christmas gift.

And on another topic...just finished episode 7 of Burn Notice Season 6. What. The. Actual. ****.

I like it. My only complaint is that there is so much dead space taken up by that black border. I'll probably give it a go.

SchoolMaster what happens in episode 7 I forget.

Nate's funeral. I kept thinking they weren't actually going to kill him off and episode 6 was just a ruse, but there he was in the casket. Damn that was sad.

Now off to finish the Season. Best one they've had in a few years.

What the ****. 32-bit binary cgi script written in C with a sole purposes of invoking a single Perl script? Whoever decided on this, you are an *******.

Hey - I'm not getting laid. I"m at work. I think Clock would be pretty upset at that....
Pff, like you couldn't sneak Clock in for a "meeting".

I think I had mentioned on here the fear of leaving my son in the back seat of my car a while back. Thankfully I never even came close.

Then I read this, a big fat punch to the gut. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dy...2/27/AR2009022701549.html?sid=ST2009030602446

If it happened to me, it would tear me apart and destroy me. I don't know how those parents can manage, at all.

The grief and guilt he feels I can't even imagine....

I hope he gets help to deal with it.

I lost a nephew that way a few years ago. In fact, my sister-in-law did an interview about it after the fact.

A bunch of ignorant people think that could never happen to them because they are "too responsible." Well, it can.
