Another midleading title and thread from UrbanImpact.

I was expecting Evason to drop his name specifically and call him out as a serial diver, he didn't. He basically said he went down easy in one particular game without naming him.

Yawn......nothingburger

Makar responded today saying " he doesnt ever dive"

Well, that's a lie by Makar. Everyone in the league dives

Also, doesn't get why they dive ? Back in the day if you dove and the other team felt you did, you'd get your head beat in.

Now, refs are too afraid to call it as often as they should and players don't get fined for it. No one is going to beat your head in, so there's no reason NOT to dive.

huh? misleading?

Evason was clearly talking about Makar. Makar even responded to it today.

What exactly am i misleading?

Evason says that Makar always falls down when he gets boxed out and then asked how Makar is one of the best and strongest skaters but falls down twice, asked if they teach diving.

Finally someone with the cahonas to say the obvious. The Divealanche have been doing this for years. It’s coached and ingrained into their system. Rapid head snaps with any light contact to the head, exaggerated falls with any light contact near the boards, extreme grunting and rapid waving of the wrists with any light contact to the gloves. The Avs are ELITE at fooling the incompetent Refs in this League.

Don’t get me wrong though, I don’t blame them for it. If they found a way to get free PowerPlays from the Leagues incompetent officiating they should do it. And they have, they won a Stanley Cup doing just that. All hail the DIVEALANCHE.

The one whining. The Avs are near the bottom of the league for powerplay opportunities so if they're diving as much as the boomer says so it ain't doing them any favours.
Well you had a good run for about a decade.

Wait sec, you guys are top 3 this year.
I knew I can't trust Avs fans to give me the TRUTH.
Bottom of the league my ass, you lie as much as your team dives.

I've seen NHL refs make calls after having absolutely not seen the infraction and having only seen the player down on the ice.

So yeah, diving is going to happen.

Dude is in the hot seat, so this is a way to distract the media and people from what his actual coaching the Wild has led to this season.
Lol yea that’s why this is happening. Cause calling out the Avs as divers is going to somehow turn the Wilds season around. Evason may be on the hot seat but his statements have nothing to do with his current job security, that’s quite the stretch you’ve made. It’s obvious what he’s doing here is calling a spade a spade.

The Leafs and Wings have been known to run subtle interference on teams for a long time as an example.

The Avs and Sens are teams known for embellishment for a long while. It is what it is.

It's in the rules, they are trying to win.

Does anyone have a clip of this specific incident? I watched most of the game, and don't remember the play(s) in question. While many players dive, I personally don't recall an instance with Makar taking a dive in any game I've seen.

I do remember this though:

All part of the Divealanche plan. Everyone remembers that Makar moment that he planned to do specifically to look like an Angel to the leagues Refs. The scam is still working on refs. But smart hockey guys that see the game correctly know he’s a Divers. Dean was right.
