I'm not worried sick. I just know that if it were me... I wouldn't want to do this 3 years in a row. f***, I struggle with doing it in men's league for one season, when a team is bad. I don't think they need to make "big" moves. They just can't trot out mostly trash to play with him again next year. They need to start trying to improve things a little more. Year 3 of the rebuild should start to see the team improving to outside the bottom 7-8 teams in the NHL.
there's no reason to worry about bedard leaving at this juncture is all i was saying. you don't have to be worried about his contract status in six years to conclude that it would be ideal for the team to get better players in that time span.

Seth Jones: The most unlikable Hawk ever? I mean....is there a single fan that wouldn't just be downright elated if he disappeared this very second and was never seen from again??

Dylan Strome already has 15 assists and near 20 pts i believe. He's turned in to one hell of a player if you ask me. Looks like a legit 1C right now. Good for him. Washington has a very good team this year. Ovi on a mission.

Optimistic, but yes.

Bottom line thru 2 periods:

Detroit top line = 2 goals

CHI top line Zero goals...

Or put this way:

Larkin = 1g 1a

Bedard: 0g Oa

20 minutes remaining...Bedard you gotta do sonething!

Teraveinen being washed on the 3rd line for absolutely no reason
Speaking of going through the motions. Sounds like TT's career in the NHL. Talent with no desire to dig in and use it.

Is this game going to be another rope-a dope? Hope so.

It's all relative. They're a bottom team again this year but they aren't getting a belt to bottom whooping every single night. That's a lot less demoralizing than last season was. Calgary had pick 7 this year and they had 81 points. That's a world of difference from where the Blackhawks were. It won't be the end of the world if that's where the team is at next year.

And for the billionth time, Bedard isn't going anywhere.

The old back from a long road trip excuse...Complaceny,no energy,,no focus, lose the puck battles,do not move the feet...etc..etc..etc..
