In the immediate future, I guess Brodzinski and Hunt (who has also been coined a Gallant Favorite) could come out first. When Kakko and Rooney come back?

Gallant may trust McKegg but he's not going to in the lineup when fully healthy. Gallant's preference for him may come up if there's an injury and it's between McKegg and someone else to come into the lineup but fully healthy there's no chance McKegg plays.

He started the season in Hartford and god called up due to injuries. When players got better he got sent down again. Then was called up again amid the covid absences. He's been up and down to Hartford 3 times this season. This isn't an AV/Glass situation.

In fairness to gallant his excuse was he needed Mckegg for the penalty kill. Now he’s got Copp Motte and Vatrano all more than capable to take those mins.

Hunt doesn’t even kill penalties which is laughable. You shouldn’t be a fourth liner in this league if you can’t kill penalties and aren’t a goon

I'm wondering if the Jets deal is bigger than just Copp and thats why Drury wants to announce it at 5?
