U18: Day 1 of the U18s GDT

2-0... Well deserved. I'm happy it's still close but this has 4-0 written all over it. It was hopefully tipped because hrabal looks bad otherwise
 
I'm already looking forward to how my darling will explain that this must not happen, but it really must not happen.

I realize it's a hobby for some of you guys to make smart ass comments when Canada takes a drubbing but I still find it childish, I try to temper that with the fact that as a fan of a team that is an also ran in international hockey you never have anything to cheer for, it's not like you ever win anything,in that sense you are essentially the same as Kazakhs first overall picks not withstanding. First overall picks are not gold victories.

Maybe more humility is in order considering these facts? Theres no need to be a jerk when the team you cheer for can;t win anything themselves after all.

I don't think the prior poster was out of line. He just pointed out it was surprising to see Canada lose by such a large margin given their overall status, and that those types of results are generally consistent with the random team that sometimes plays in the top division but clearly does not belong. Slovakia is without a doubt better than Kazakhstan.

It’s cause we sucked ass and Sweden was better. All there is to it lol.

There’s more games left, but god damn I wasn’t expecting the team to be used as Swedens toilet scrubber this morning :oops:

You really are confusing countries & continents if you fail to recognize the country of World Champions, most recent Olympic bronze medalists and multiple Hall of Famers, confusing it for some random Asian countries. I know today's 0-8 debacle must have rattled you hard, but that's no reason to go on rants like these.

You are likely rattled every tournament before it starts knowing the best you can possibly hope for is a bronze.

That can't help but be a bring down i'm sure.
 
Incredibly. If there was a choice for the most demented team led by a certain coach, then my darling must win across the board. A foul behind the goal with a siren? Maybe in 5 minutes? Really?

And of course it was Eichler, guy I was wondering what he is doing in final nomination :D ... completelly useless and he probably lost us the game .. how poetic

Hopefuly he gets some 3-4 matches stop for this and we get rid of him for the rest of the tournament lol

And hopefully this is darlings last tournament and we send him straight back to Australia in an express box after WCH lol
