hold up, we've got a maybe hereIt was the plan; they want to up his usage and frequency of games to measure how he’s holding up.
What This Means for You:
Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

He is legit man. Always has a great toolbox & you could see the potential but he didn't look good in his D+1 & injures didn't help his case either. And guys that watched him on a reg basis didn't have too many exciting things to say about him either. Was starting to look like a super depressing pick until he came back from his injury.
We are so lucky this guy turned out. And I love that he's developing a mean streak. This changes everything for us
Kudos to you haha I'm not as optimistic as I once was with prospects. Been burned too many times and I didn't mean to imply he sucked. I know he had a shit environment with all the coaches and that didn't help but nonetheless Reinbacher was not at his best last year from what I saw & read from other posters.I mean he scored 5 in 11 for Laval in his D+1 season while looking razor sharp...despite having to adjust to NQ ice rinks, new coaches, new teammates etc. Small sample size but still. I also told you that he didn't play poorly back in Switzerland. His scoring was down from his usual standard but that was due to him playing hurt, him arriving late from Canada, him playing hurt for large parts of the season, him playing on a bad team with zero offense and terrible coaching and him having to babysit friggen Nathan Beaulieu for several games until that bum was finally sent packing.
Those guys shitting on Reinbacher probably didn't watch him anyway and just watching stats. I always told you that he's playing well. Yes, his D+1 season didn't go as planned but that wasn't really Reinbacher's fault. Also don't forget he was holding down a 50% job, attending classes every week and preparing for exams he wrote last summer.
So yeah. A difficult season perhaps but kinda stupid to doubt a defenseman scoring close to 0.50 in pro hockey ever since 21/22 based on that one season...especially since he bounced back in Laval towards the end.
The only thing that does worry me is his history with knee injuries. I hope it was just bad luck and not something that's gonna follow him around all career long.
Don't forget that he added a potential 2nd line center in last year's draft -- Big Ten Freshman of the Year Michael Hage.
That's why I said "potential" 2nd line center. That's the thing though, I've watched every single game of Hage's this season for Michigan, and he started his year playing a more traditional center-ice position but has sort of gone away from that as the season has progressed.
A lot of it has to do with Michigan not having many good options offensively, and Hage trying to maximize his toolset.
But it could also very well be that Michael Hage might just be better suited for the wing, and not a true-blue center.
Because the HF "experts" don't really know prospects as much as they think they do and take a freakout when their pick doesn't get chosen.I'll never really understand why he got written off so quickly. Even if you were just statwatching, the basic numbers with Reinbacher should have been obviously encouraging. 0.5PPG in his draft year as a 6'3 right shot D with a well-rounded game (as in, he wasn't just cheating for offence either) on a mediocre team is extremely impressive.
Don't really understand why he got written off as some right shot Joel Edmundson for a year. Glad that the tide is turning though, the idea of adding him into the core with Guhle and Hutson is pretty exciting.
Picking before 21st OA should have the potential to pick a better C prospect, no?That's why I said "potential" 2nd line center.
Keep in mind with where the Habs will be picking in the first round this summer, the chances of getting a center prospect better than Hage are not great. Anyone they draft will be "potential", too.
Personally, I think it should be instead of Guhle and that Guhle should be used to get a young, established 2C instead.I'll never really understand why he got written off so quickly. I am shocked.Personally, I think it should be instead of Guhle and that Guhle should be used to get a young, established 2C instead.
Hutson - Reinbacher
Matheson - Carrier
Xhekaj - mailloux
He's been good considering the circumstances I mentioned. Like I said. Most of those posters are probably stat watchers or Michkov fanboysKudos to you haha I'm not as optimistic as I once was with prospects. For this particular prospect I really needed to see it with my own eyes to believe it. He's really impressed since coming back. idk if anyone expected him to look this good honestly.
Injuries are a concern but considering how fast he's bounced back, I think he might be ok in that department moving forward.
Weaker draft + Hage was probably a better prospect than #21 overall, means I would not count on getting a better center prospect than him. I would consider the team fortunate to get someone similar in the mid-teens where they will probably pick.Picking before 21st OA should have the potential to pick a better C prospect, no?
Even Ryabkin, who might slide at the draft, could be a Hab pick and be a good C?
Great explanation for that - "That is all"...I am shocked.
Shocked and appalled.
That is all.
Oh Most definitely but poster I was referring to was Montreal! The one guy who's basically seen all his gamesHe's been good considering the circumstances I mentioned. Like I said. Most of those posters are probably stat watchers or Michkov fanboys![]()
Bro that Blueline friggen blows on most nights, it's made up of AHL and journeymen. MM can't defend, Mailloux is unproven, so is Reinbacher. Carrier is a 5-6 with Arbs. You can't throw Hutson to the wolves like this. I have never cared for Struble, but he has played really well, how is he not on your list insted of LM ? Savard is still on the team as well. We need big time help on the backend, Guhle is the future on the blueline with Hutson.Personally, I think it should be instead of Guhle and that Guhle should be used to get a young, established 2C instead.
