    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. Do we have the best Forward prospect, Defenseman prospect and Goalie prospect not in the NHL?

No, best defenseman prospect not in the NHL is Nikishin.

And I'd say that right now I'd have Jacob Fowler in my top-5 of all goaltending prospects in Hockey but he wouldn't be #1 for me.

I agree on Demidov though.

All of that stuff aside, it's tremendous what is happening in the prospect pool and on the team now.

We have depth at all positions on the prospect pool, some good future bottom-6 players with grit, some stars-in-the-making, and also complementarity of skillsets to boot.

If Kent Hughes just manages to add star-quality to the center-ice position in our prospect pool in this year's draft, we'll be in an incredible position going forward.

Reinbacher's recent play has done wonders for my confidence in our defense going forward.

Same for how good Struble has looked alongside Hutson.

do you even know what Osgood-Schlatter is? it's absolutely nothing. it probably bothered him when he was 17. you're talking about it like he's got ALS.
Actually, if he does have the condition he might be part of the minority of people where symptoms never go away, which seems to happen in 10% of cases. I assume, given his age, that he has stopped growing, so if they are reporting this issue it would reason that he might be part of this group.

That being said, who cares? The Habs medical staff are looking after him, and this is all useless chatter, since we all don’t know much about this disease or his experiences with it, and so it is just a bunch of anxiety.

He got a goal yesterday, which is good. I hope he keeps progressing.

Also,

Is anyone else excited about next year? RB and Demidov joining the club along with Beck and maybe some others? Gonna be a fun year!
It is going to be great! Lots of talent coming up.

But I am also really looking forward to seeing that Osgood Schlatter guy. I heard he plays a heavy game and can take players out with a lot of pain! 🥸

It's funny watching people discover how good Reinbacher is.

They didn't take him at 5 for shits and giggles. The guy was a legit top end defense prospect and he plays right side.

He has everything you want in a modern defenseman.

Adding him to our top 4 next year with Demidov coming in to enhance our second line. If Hughes can get that elusive left shot 2C. We will be starting to cook at levels we haven't seen in decades.

He is legit man. Always has a great toolbox & you could see the potential but he didn't look good in his D+1 & injures didn't help his case either. And guys that watched him on a reg basis didn't have too many exciting things to say about him either. Was starting to look like a super depressing pick until he came back from his injury.

We are so lucky this guy turned out. And I love that he's developing a mean streak. This changes everything for us

Absolutely happy with seeing him progress and show what he can do in the AHL. All we were asking is for him to stay healthy and play.

He has a lot of pressure ever since he was drafted. Lots of criticism and haters. But, ultimately, he's a kid who has ton of potential and can't wait how he'll turn out in 3-4 years. Can be a menace in the NHL. I think fans who hated his pick over Michkov will find out that how valuable he will be.

Solid pick by Carey Price

It’s easy to imagine Reinbacher becoming our #1 D within 3 years tops. The kid has it all. In just a few games since he’s come back from injury, he did not just adapt to AHL speed and physicality, he has thrived and is heads and shoulders above everyone in Laval, and every defensemen he’s played against in the games I have watched.
Big, fast, heavy shot, high IQ, precise puck movement and a bit of a mean streak…. oh…and a righty 😍.
Future is bright with a Reinbacher and Hutson as your first pairing.

Don't forget that he added a potential 2nd line center in last year's draft -- Big Ten Freshman of the Year Michael Hage.

Doesn't matter to me if the guy ends up averaging 30 points a year, when we're in big games and he excels at retrieving pucks in in the D-zone and launching quick exits the coach will want to play him 30 minutes a game.

I’ll admit when I’m wrong and it appears I was dead wrong with Reinbacher. I am so glad to see him developing well and gaining confidence in Laval. Hope he can keep it up and stay healthy, a top RD is such an integral piece for us to take the next step.
