I watched the game, he played safe and simple. His passing is solid. Look forward to seeing him get into game shape and clean out that rust.
He played well last night. Yes he was on the ice for a few goals but each time, he was covering his man and someone else was left open.I watched the game, he played safe and simple. His passing is solid. Look forward to seeing him get into game shape and clean out that rust.
One of the goals he was on the ice for, he got tagged up with the man he was covering (not to say he was hooked by the man he was covering). He played well last night. Yes he was on the ice for a few goals but each time, he was covering his man and someone else was left open.
He has a strong D presence and quickly kills plays and make a good first pass. That’s what we need back there.

He looks bigger than he really is, for some reason.

time is the keyImproved balance and lower body strength is the most important thing for him going forward
I like to get up to change the channels on my tv. That way you save the battery charge in the remote.Ideally, yes.
I'd probably do the same with Demidov too. We can't afford our assets getting injured.
I think he grew since his draft day size of 6'2.
I thought the same in training camp, he has to be taller than what he’s listed at.
He was listed at 6’2.25 - 194lbs at the combine and 6'3 209lbs at the 24-25 training camp. So he has grown by a bit. I think it's the lack of elongated neck, he looks big and compact. Maybe our resident neck expert can chime in (he knows who he is).
I would like to see a larger sample of his stops and starts before I'm convinced he's totally fine.Anyone else terrified that he might re injure the knee in his first few games back?
He has a bit of a history of knee injuries already and it was such a nothing play that hurt it in the first place. If he can stay healthy the rest of the season I'd consider that a win.
Just like anyone who's had a major knee injury, it's going to take some time to have complete confidence in it....especially at game speed. He'll be fineAnyone else terrified that he might re injure the knee in his first few games back?
It takes about half a year of playing before it gets out of your head....Just like anyone who's had a major knee injury, it's going to take some time to have complete confidence in it....especially at game speed. He'll be fine

There was a Play RDS commented on when he took a shot that missed the net where he didn't hard stop to return to his defensive posture immediately but instead took a circuitous route. I hope it was a situational misread and not discomfort.
if it's the play I'm thinking of, he didn't do a hard stop but his 'circuitous route' might have been attributable to stepping on a stick and falling. Maybe there's another similar play in there that I'm not remembering. 11:30 ish
Haven’t seen him post in a few weeks , he must be doing more neck related researchHe was listed at 6’2.25 - 194lbs at the combine and 6'3 209lbs at the 24-25 training camp. So he has grown by a bit. Hook, held, dragged down yeah. Scared me for his knee for a second. Should have been a penalty imo.One of the goals he was on the ice for, he got tagged up with the man he was covering (not to say he was hooked by the man he was covering).

I love to defend Q players. I love my nation. I was NOT a fan of the David pick.
HAVING SAID THAT....f*** RDS AND TVA. I'm so f***ing sick and tired of their f***ing rhetoric. Anglos are bad. Francos are great. Let's give Matheson a break, let's not criticize Josh Roy...but let's crucify Hutson and Reinbacher. f***ers.
Reinbacher did good for a 1st game back. Actually did better than I anticipated. Best combinatino of skating and passing on that blue line. And hockey IQ has obviously nothing to do with Mailloux's.....
No matter what we think of the pick, and you all know what I think, they better not f*** this up. Play him a lot of minutes. In all situations. We need this guy on our top 4.
Just to make you worry more, I tore my ACL, pretty much fully recovered, tore it again, had cartilage removed, and it hasn’t been really good since. Avoid reinjury. It takes about half a year of playing before it gets out of your head....
I have so much trauma about my knee injury that I worry about my kids with every step they take.
