is he gonna play a couple of games this year?
I just think it’s silly to say that Dach’s knee is better than ever and that his surgery wasn’t a big deal. You can't wait a little? Are you at the fastfood drive-thru waiting for your order? Lol.
Dach's knee injury was much more severe. His knee was tore in 2 places.I just think it’s silly to say that Dach’s knee is better than ever and that his surgery wasn’t a big deal.
Dach can protect the puck with his body and deke, but his lateral mobility is bottom tier. Maybe he can get away with it as 2C but Reinbacher will need to rely on his pivots way more to play effective man to man defense in our system
Watch him return for the last ~20 games of the year in Laval, then get the call up to the big team for the playoffs and step in with impact like PK did in his first NHL PO's
With Trudeau apparently having been injured last night against Utica, that Laval defence without Jacobs, is really slow and vulnerable. If Trudeau is out for any extended period, that team will need help on the back end. So if and when he is ready, Reinbacher would be a welcome and needed addition in Laval.Watch him return for the last ~20 games of the year in Laval, then get the call up to the big team for the playoffs and step in with impact like PK did in his first NHL PO's
lol he’s right shooting top 5 pick d man. And 20 years old. What a stupid post.Trade him, there's too much risk and the reward is questionable
My reasons to trade him:
-Price screwed his name (1st reason)
-Fans wanted another player (2nd reason)
-Injuries
-Defenders are harder to develop
-He might not be ready for when the team is ready to compete, next year or even the next one
-We can use him in a package deal to get something good now that will help Hutson and the team immediately and for the following 3-4 years.

Apparently he is very mobile. Gets on opponents fast. I really hope his skating is not damaged.I’d say that’s closer to his floor.
If all goes well he’s a top pairing guy all day.
If the knees are fine he’ll be a top 4 all day. The only clear weakness I saw was defending against the rush.
The chelios for savard trade was the worst ever. But apparently there were internal problems with chelios. Still. Awful trade. I was really pissed at it. Just stupid. Habs should have got much more than a washed up former star. I hated the trade then. Still hate it now.The Roy trade, the Leclair trade, the Chelios trade. Man we made some idiotic trades then. The Leclair trade may have been the best one lol. At least got the best return. Savard was washed more or less when we got him
Not interested. Let’s talk hockey.Oh you're one of those guys that see him as a 5th OA pick, arent you?
And then you come here insulting other people's posts.
You're playing an intersting character sir

Oh really? I thought we got him the year of 93 with Demers. My bad.By no means am I suggesting that Savard for Chelios was a good trade, but I would heavily dispute the notion that Savard was washed up when he was acquired.
An enormous part of his drop in production with the Canadiens is the fault of Pat Burns.
Burns made idiotic demands on Savard and essentially demanded he stop doing all of the things that made him a special player in the first place.
The way Burns handled Savard would be like buying a Lamborghini Countach and then putting a snow plow on the front of it.
Nah he played a couple of years before the cup. But played only one year under demers if not mistakenOh really? I thought we got him the year of 93 with Demers. My bad.
What are you talking about? It's fact that he was selected 5th overall. The reality that he shouldn't have been selected in the top 15 does nothing to alter it.Oh you're one of those guys that see him as a 5th OA pick, arent you?

look on paper and what cheliios did after, we can call the savard trade a disaster. But the main exception we won a cup with him on the team, yes he did not play much in the playoffs, but i think him being on the team helped winning the cup and if you ask me now , there is no one player i would trade for a cup.The chelios for savard trade was the worst ever. There's no reality where he shouldn't have been selected in the top 10, let alone the top 15. He was going 5. If we had the pick, or any number of the teams trying to acquire the pick, had the pick.
A 6'3 RD who can skate, defend and join the rush obviously does not have 1st round value. Especially when they play big minutes and put up significant numbers on the board in the NL as D0.
Look at the best defenders we got the last quarter.
The best ones were selected above round 2. Is it a coincidence? Is it because we dont know how to develop them? Is it because the pressure for a top D in the NHL playing for the Canadiens is too high for those guys?
Subban, 2nd round
Hutson, 2nd round
Markov, 6th round
The first rounders we picked that we dint trade, that no longer play for us or are retired:
Komisarek, ok
Tinordi, Nothing burger
Hainsey, Traded early
Beaulieu, Nothing burger
Juulsen, Nothing burger
The guys playing now:
Logan Mailloux, Decent pick and questionable
Kaiden Guhle, Good pick
The guys that never played for us, u know what i mean:
Mikhail Sergachev, Great Pick
David Fischer, Europe
Ryan McDonagh, Great career
Plus Carey Price cursed him by screwing up his name.
Fans wanted Michkov, Double Curse
Fans attacked him violently on social media, Triple curse
This is no jokes... this guy condemned to play at a high level in montreal, thats alot of pressure and very negative pressure for any one to go through.
The organisation made a big booboo, are they going to bite the bullet and accept defeat to an impossible situation or are they going full ego mode and be its us vs them, once again?
Lets just trade him for a pick and be done with this patates chaude because he's not going to be that guy playing 1st pair with Hutson you guys all be dreaming about.
Lol what.. stick to meme posts about Mesar. This is brutal.
