That moment when you bash a solid coaching decision because you don't like the guy...

A solid coaching decision?

I don't dislike him as a person but he's a year and a half in and still green af.

#30 hasn't played in how many games now?
Yet.. He's on the beach and not ready for his next start so because of that fact, he's starting a rookie?

You don't see anything wrong with that at the NHL level?

What a joke.. Just stop..

I can unequivocally say I cannot see what you're angrily blabbering about.

I didn't like hearing that #30 was on the beach instead of preparing for his next start and even though the DRW are the worst in the league, he came through with a SO tonight.
Propz..

Plenty of guys were on vacation for the break. Panarin was in Mexico. Igor was playing in Hartford so he was warm. Hank got a practice in to warm back up, then played well.

Not really..DQ is still a minor league coach.
Had #30 not played the worst team in the league, he probably wouldn't have been prepared and most likely would've gotten torched since he's no longer apart of a normal rotation.
How does a goalie, of all positions, prepare for that?
It's straight up stupid.
The only thing that maybe "oops" would probably my tone which came off a little strong..

Yeah. Of course none of this is based on anything but your own prejudices.

Hypotheticals can be anything and aren’t a meaningful point in a debate. He played and got a shutout.

There's always a reason why people become prejudice.
It's not unfounded.. The guys a terrible coach..

Actually you're right..I shouldn't really blame DQ for crappy hand that JG dealt him..

It looks like all that time on the beach and lack of playing time really paid off tonight for Lundqvist and the team tonight huh?

Nice. You can take care of two bird with one stone.

Lol says the guy with the screen name of "SingnBluesOnBroadway"

At this point you know who he is. He just haunts this tread as a troll, attempting to get a rise out of people.

I don't think it's wrong to voice my dislike for DQ in his own thread.
You just don't like it and I could care less.
If anyone would be considered a troll, it would be you since you combat every single person that goes against your ridiculous man crush.
Get over yourself, Guy
People are allowed to disagree..

Now down to making fun of people's handles, are we? The poster to whom you refer has more cred in these parts than you could gather in a lifetime of uninformed posts.

This would be funny were it not so utterly pathetic. When virtually everyone debating with you believes you have an agenda, perhaps it is time for a bit more of an introspective look?

Yeah but you don't know what my creds are about and I'm just busting a little on him anyway lol
He has much more cred than you ffs..

Ya know..I don't think I like your attitude and unhingy-ness much, Mister

It’s funny to me how the last 5 or so games have been a display of exactly the type of hockey a few of us thought this team was capable of all along and how the “everyone is young so just give them excuses for why they make mistakes” crowd seems to have disappeared from this thread. Those who called me crazy for thinking this team had the talent to be a contender for a playoff spot are watching what I knew this team was capable of. I’m glad Quinn seems to have finally gotten his team to defend responsibly and be more aware of making sound choices with the puck. Now the question is, can he get this team to play this way for the next 10, 20,30 games?

You realize the point about their youth was that they needed to be given time to learn what Quinn was trying to teach, right? That they’ve improved backs this up. There’s no way he changed what he was coaching. So we didn’t disappear, we thought our point was made for us by the team. They might stay improved, they might step back and improve again. Because progress on young teams isn’t always unbroken.

By the way, his timeout last night was brilliant. A team that has gotten rattled late in games gives up a goal with just a few minutes left, but still leads by 1. Call a timeout to settle the boys down. It worked perfectly.
