Speculation: David Perron to the Leafs?

Now to clarify this is my own speculation but I do think there is a legitimate shot.

Why?

Because both Craig Berube and Marc Savatd are now Leaf coaches, they are both familiar with David Perron, and if you have ever heard them talk about him you know they think there is a decent shot they are pursuing him right now, because we all know tampering happens that's why you see deals get done 15 minutes after free agency opens.

The one concern is he is 36, abd because he's 36 I wonder what kind of money he gets on the open market.

I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up here and it would be a good move the Leafs should bring in as many people with rings as possible

I would love for Toronto to take Perron, so that Yzerman and Lalonde can't continue sticking him on the DRW's second line.

He's still nasty from the wall, but everything else eh. Has that edge tho, one of the few wings who did. If you can put him in your bottom six and PP2 on the cheap, not a bad option.

I would take him back in that role.
