Amazing how much harder the Bruins players play for Pasta than they did for Marchand this season
I don't think that is the road anyone should travel. I am all for moving on from a 37-year-old with multiple surgeries, but Marchand effort should never be questioned, and if his teammates have a problem with his leadership, that there right, but he cannot be questioned on how he played on the ice. So, I suggest that thought be put to rest.

I'm convinced Monty was purposefully trying to get fired so he could go to St. Louis. There's no other explanation for the things he did.
100% sure that Doug Armstrong was tampering while Monty was under contract here, and if Neely or Sweeney fought it they could probably get a draft pick out of it, but they chose not to pursue it because I'm sure they were just as happy to let Coach Cueball go away

I feel like I should feel bad, but I don't miss Marchand anymore and feel ambivalent about him returning

I cried when Bergy retired, I think i got the team I grew up with ending thing out of my system already. Marchand was like the mid credits scene to the end of the movie.

I get it but still believe Brad (if he returns to the Bs) can help with leadership and the young kids.

Pasta is handling it well so far, but being the only leader is a lot of weight on his shoulders.

Bergeron retiring stung me bad. It still hurts. A lot of it is that you knew the Bruins had nobody that could fill the void Bergys retirement left. I don’t see Marchand being traded as creating much of that same void

Especially with Pastrnak doing the shit he’s doing this season. Kids a special player. Had some super lazy moments early this season that I wish to forget, but he’s a special player.

Marchand has great leadership qualities and with his and Pasta, incredible work ethic, commitment, and along with their stardom, should demonstrate to the younger kids, that just not talent alone is enough at the highest level.

Charlie McAvoy is also a leader, Pasta dosent have all the weight on his shoulders.

Zadorov is a leader as well.

And no let Brad stay in Florida, His time has past I hope in Boston

You love Pasta I get it but disrespecting McAvoy's leadership qualities by keep omitting him in the conversation makes zero sense to me.

I think Pasta, should be the captain, and I mean no disrespect to McAvoy, he is a leader also, my only complaint with McAvoy as a leader, I think he should play his game, which in my opinion is very good, but I think there was times he tried to do too much, and wants his team to be successful. You are right about Marchand, move on, his time is over.

No matter how the voting goes, by definition, Pasta is the Hart winner this year. But the voters won't follow the definition.....

Hart Memorial Trophy, awarded annually to the player deemed most valuable to their team

It is annoying that teammates never get point out in Hart discussions.

What kind of video game numbers would Pastrnak be putting up if he played full time with Makar, Point, McDavid?
