I don't think it was as good as the Netflix show as the story was often rushed (9 episodes was too short), but overall happy with the result. Better than the normal Marvel stuff for sure.
Show felt like it was having an identity crisis for a lot of the season. Some parts felt like a more disney plus era show while others felt like the netflix show. Understandable, given the changes that occured prosuction.
The finale tho...holy shit did it find its identity and it picked the right one. Cant wait for season 2!

Considering it was originally planned to be an 18 episode season but Feige retooled it into two 9 episode seasons (possibly more to come), this felt more like a mid-season finale. As I previously mentioned, episodes 1, 8 & 9 were completely new, the rest were mostly intact or had minor added footage or edits. They'll probably release a making of special soon.

For his defense though, he had no time to train before season 1. He did before season 2 and it showed.
Really was.
Overall, good series. Very little DD outside of the beginning of the show and the end.
Could not disagree more. Thought this version was about 100x better than Netflix for one simple reason. 99% less Foggy and Karen!!!! I absolutely f-ing despise those two whiny annoying life sucking characters. I honestly believe the actors get paid per tear shed cause that's all they ever did. I cheered like my team scored a playoff OT goal when Foggy got shot and killed ep 1.
And the season was wayyy to long on Netflix.
that's amazing news! She was far and away the best character and had the best show of any of the Netflix Marvel heroes.

This. They could've been "shrunk" by a couple of episodes. 10-11 could've been better paced.
