I don't think it was as good as the Netflix show as the story was often rushed (9 episodes was too short), but overall happy with the result. Better than the normal Marvel stuff for sure.

Show felt like it was having an identity crisis for a lot of the season. Some parts felt like a more disney plus era show while others felt like the netflix show. Understandable, given the changes that occured prosuction.

The finale tho...holy shit did it find its identity and it picked the right one. Cant wait for season 2!

Considering it was originally planned to be an 18 episode season but Feige retooled it into two 9 episode seasons (possibly more to come), this felt more like a mid-season finale. As I previously mentioned, episodes 1, 8 & 9 were completely new, the rest were mostly intact or had minor added footage or edits. They'll probably release a making of special soon.

That was some great tv. 9 episodes absolutely flew by. As much as I can't wait for Punisher to get his own show, him being involved in the Daredevil series just works.. I waited for this for so many years and it didn't disappoint.

For his defense though, he had no time to train before season 1. He did before season 2 and it showed.
