Podcast (Audio) Crash the pond recent episode

By not supporting CTP, then they are losing that viewership. And by advertising it here, robbieboy is promoting to canceling them. That is wanting CTP podcast to fail. Like I said, robbieboy is doing the same thing.
CTP is purporting to be website/podcast for fans of the Ducks. So its certainly odd for one or more hosts to be rooting against the team you're purporting to support. Seems to show a lack of understanding of (and perhaps contempt for) your customers.

It is one thing (a good thing) for a fan website to be critical of the team. The Q hire is absolutely fair game. It is a different thing to openly root for the team to lose because you don't like the coach/gm (or their decisions) and want your subjective views to be "vindicated" in some bizarre way. Petulant is the word that comes to mind.

It's no scummier than rooting for the team to fail for a draft pick, so those of you jeering this who were also on the tank squad should look in the mirror.

They're not close imo. Although I would never cheer for a tank again, at least cheering for a tank has the team succeeding at the heart of it. Rooting for a team to fail because you don't like the hire is.. What??

Not too interested in podcasting tbh. Easy to think you'd be great at it until you're actually doing it. Would be down to catch a game at Parkway at Tivoli or somewhere like that though.
Sounds good( agree that it’s probably not easy) I live on the tpc summerlin golf course , so right near tivoli( never been to the parkway) definitely down to catch a game or 2 there with you 🫡

I listened to it, didn't interpret it the same way. Sounded to me like he's still a fan, albeit conflicted. So what?

Hell I'm not sure I've got it all worked out yet on how I'm gonna approach my fandom. I mean, I can't say I'm not a fan ... But I also don't know how I'm gonna watch games either, in my situation.

In any case, why should you get all worked up about what anyone else thinks? It doesn't matter.

As to their pod, I don't agree with them fairly often, but so what? I don't agree with a lot of you chumps a lot of the time either, but I'd still hang with ya. Except for my sworn enemy, you know who you are.

Hope you can find a way to stick around. :)

That would be entertaining. Dirk post game show where he analyzes how they didn't hit enough of the other team.

"I dont know how this team expects to win when ross johnston is only playing 2 mins, hes the hardest hitter and best fighter and we need him out there being a physical prescence for at least 14 mins a night"

Looks up at scorebored
ducks win 4-1

Currently I'm thinking I'll follow boxscores, catch highlights, etc.. Whether or not I can continue to actually watch games though ... undecided.

But this is a good group here, don't really want to bail entirely even strictly from a non-team specific perspective. In fact, it's such a good group that I know that if a bag of warm poop mysteriously ends up on PVs desk, you guys can be counted on to vouch for my character and confirm my whereabouts. Thanks in advance, btw.
