There’s a difference between saying Hamilton isn’t a great player or a true number 1 or whatever and saying he’s a bum that needs to be traded. That is indefensible and stupid.

For $9M I'd want a true number 1. Hamilton is a great roving scorer but is such a defensive liability. I'd much rather have a Larsson type defender for half the cost, especially with guys like Hughes and Casey in the pipeline.

Luckily he’s worth every cent and more and has been one of the best defensemen in the league this season and for most of his career.
