This is why I'm glad we haven't extended Ruff.

We would have extended him, someone else would have hired Brunette to be their head coach next year and we would have wound up firing Ruff next year, while we bring in worthless Kevin Dineen and Brunette is coaching up in Vancouver.

This is why you don't extend him until very late in the year.
