Ekholm needs to gut through whatever is bothering him and return ASAP. The PK is ass without him and we can’t hold off a team that will be guaranteed to get 5+ PP a game if he isn’t in the lineup.

PK needs to find a way to do something.
I won’t fault skinner much, I’d like a save on goal 5. Goal 4 was terrible too.

Very weak 3rd period and a complete break down in discipline.

You should have punched yourself in the face Perry, you dumbass. Your no reason stick to the face penalty changed the game completely. You can bitch at the refs all you want, that was completely bone headed and changed everything. So much for an Oilers sweep, with this guy in net you can’t let up in front of him for a minute.
That is going to be one tough loss to swallow. Thing is many were thinking this was an easy series for the Oilers. Now after this loss we will get the they are finished crowd chiming in. I am sticking with Oilers in 6 but we need game 2, played a great 40 before imploding.

As MacT would say, that was a debacle of monumental proportions. Lost to a Dallas team that had no interest in playing for the first 40 minutes, and we gave it away with dumb penalties (with some help from the ref) a horrendous PK and suspect goaltending. The sad part is that Dallas’ stars were MIA and they still put six on us, their heralded depth destroyed us tonight. I had hoped we were past these choke jobs, but apparently not. I’d Pick isn’t even with the team it sounds like he’s a ways away from playing, so Stu better get his shit together.

We had a chance to ice the game with a PP at 3-1. The PP has been anti-clutch all year.
PK been pretty bad all year. Coaching staff hasn’t been able to adjust.
Getting out special teams like this is bad. I don’t trust the NHL wont call more penalties if it benefits Dallas.
We really had the opportunity to be in Oettingers head but now he probably has confidence. On the flip side, Skinner turned into a pumpkin.

Skinner is a disaster. Impossible to win with this guy. He didn’t even try on the fourth goal, what the f***!

Absolutely. They got what they deserved. Some things never change and blasting their own leg off with a shotgun is just what they do at least once or twice a year. Dallas is just finding their feet and will smash us to pieces if we aren't careful.
