Stupid penalties and the PK cost us. I thought we completely controlled the game at 5 on 5, but we need to sort out our special teams.

Skinner wasn't exactly sharp, but there's also the refusal to play a full 60 minutes, which at this point is beyond baffling.

They gave this game away. Knew that early PP goal was going to be a problem. Bad penalties ensue and they can't get a kill or stop. Had a chance with PP's which were terrible. Completely unraveled.

As much as I hate Skinner, this was a complete implosion by the entire team, and placing the blame on a single player lets way too many people off the hook.

Phantom high stick was a brutal call. But the others were justified. No need for Perry to cross check a guy in the face.

Skinner was bad, but blaming him for the loss is a scapegoat for an absolutely egregious third period.

I would have liked a timeout or something after the tie goal to kind of settle things down.

Edit: Better visual shows it was not a phantom high stick. Just an ugly, undisciplined period by the Oil. Need a save or two, but don't need a save or two if they don't put themselves in that position.
