We even have players wearing #53 , #63 and #64 on forwards and on defense #44 . #46 and #55 and none of those are prospects/minor league guys playing pre-season games.

I do kind of like the scenario where Edmonton picks him up and they basically have like $50 million in cap space tied up between McDavid, Draisaitl, Nurse, and Rantanen next season.

I never saw anything to indicate Stank projected as a center at the NHL level, but if you're Carolina and have waved the white flag on your season you might as well find out for yourself and give him every opportunity.

Well yeah that's what I'm saying. A few fans on their board were hoping (praying?) he could play C because their center depth is pretty bad so I saw a few put him in the future 2C role. Ouch

I don't think Stank even played center in the AHL ? Mav did and Stank was on his in Stanks only AHL season.
