Gaglardi now presides over a team with a #91, #95, and #96. Meanwhile good Canadian boys like #10 and #11 get shipped out. He's become the very thing he swore to destroy.

We even have players wearing #53 , #63 and #64 on forwards and on defense #44 . #46 and #55 and none of those are prospects/minor league guys playing pre-season games.

So it never got off the ground because Edmonton never had the assets, which would have had to have been agreed to before an extension talk. Rishaug and Kypreos really hunting for clicks. I'm betting Florida, Tampa, Washington, Winnipeg, and Vegas all have similar stories.

The Toronto one i actually could believe. Makes sense to get Rantanen and sign him and then let Marner walk because Marner aparently is not willing to sign for 12-ish.

The Oilers on the other hand lol. They don't have any assets at all for a move like that.

Friedman mentioned some teams aparently chimed in to try and ratf*** with the Stars deal because they thought it would make the Stars too good.

Oh man, Canes fans penciling Stank in as the 2C... Hope that works out for them
I never saw anything to indicate Stank projected as a center at the NHL level, but if you're Carolina and have waved the white flag on your season you might as well find out for yourself and give him every opportunity.

I don't know where the 2C talk is coming from. He's practicing as their 1st line RW right now.

Well yeah that's what I'm saying. A few fans on their board were hoping (praying?) he could play C because their center depth is pretty bad so I saw a few put him in the future 2C role. Ouch

I don't think Stank even played center in the AHL ? Mav did and Stank was on his in Stanks only AHL season.
