Ah, Richie. Never met an opposing fan he didn't want to boot into next week.

Reffs really embarrassed themselves today. You have to fight through bad officiating, but that's a 10 min PP differential on high sticks alone. Just sad.

Russell... had no problem with him tonight. Loved him losing his **** in the penalty box. Thought the Kings should have kept going after him all night, they let up in the 3rd a little. Just dying of laughter when Clifford and Andy both finished checks on him after the whistle on the same play. This is what also needs to happen with Perron... if they even throw a shot back just have Clifford immediately drop the gloves and start pummeling... see if the Reffs have the balls to tack on an extra penalty.

That officiating was awful. Fact is, it was a one-goal game. Those bad calls/non-calls made a difference. That said, Kings, can you hold a frigging lead in the 3rd period? Just asking.

I always notice Roussel when we play Dallas. He was actually entertaining yesterday, the kind of guy who gives a team identity. I'm sure he would take some stupid penalties, but I wouldn't hate having him on my team, he's such a pest.

Kings playing terrible hockey at the worst time, the calgary game aside.

Four straight road losses. Repeatedly losing third period leads. lackadaisical defense...

We got 5 more games to get tuned up or its first round and out.

Ya know, it probably doesn't even matter.

In both 2012 and 2014 the Kings went on good runs at the end of the year, then tapered off right at the end.

2011-2012: Won 8 of 10 in mid-late March. Won 1 of their last 4 games.

2012-2014: Won 7 of 8 in late March. After the last win on April 2, they won 1 of their last 5 games.

2015-2016: Won 7 of 9 in early-mid March. Since the clinching game, the Kings have won 2 of 7.

Pretty much par for the course for this team.

I always notice Roussel when we play Dallas. He was actually entertaining yesterday, the kind of guy who gives a team identity. I'm sure he would take some stupid penalties, but I wouldn't hate having him on my team, he's such a pest.

Yeah didn't have a real problem with him--he wasn't being dangerous, and he's a great forechecker, good energy player--but annoying that his gloves were glued on when challenged, but kept trying to get Tyler Toffoli going instead. Play to the code, you're not a top-sixer. Those are the guys that get people hurt.

Or maybe Anaheim must win the division

Last night's loss was killer for the division race. Kings now have to beat Anaheim Thursday. We know Anaheim is going to have an extra jump in their step for that game. Will the Kings? I wouldn't bet on it.

Nah, we're going to beat the Ducks, but lose the last game to Winnipeg and lose the division.

He wouldn't fight Cliffy, then when he was in the box he was going at it with AA , just yapping away to the point where the ref had to come over and tell him to shut it. Of course he wouldn't fight AA once they came out of the box.
