DAL 3 : LAK 2 - Worst officiated game since the last one

Kings need to get their defense in order. Giving up 3rd period leads is gonna make the playoffs really short.
 
It looks like NHL also have a problem with setting the game results because of betting. I don't have any other explanation for what I saw in this game from the referees...
 
Garbage officiating, broke my remote. How the absolute **** do they miss that call on McNabb? Garbage refs belong in the ECHL.

1. missed high stick on brown
2. jamie benn's trip on pearson
3. Doughty's phantom high stick call
4. high stick and cut on mcnabb
5. two "too many men" calls missed by the refs on dallas

The only missed one two many men call. The second one they called it, then said "LOL just kidding".

Yeah the beef I have with the reffing is that each one of those calls is automatic. Automatic. They're not judgment calls like hooking or holding (though there was lots of that too).

Dallas probably 'deserved' that game, but hard to tell what it would have looked like if they would have had to kill some more PKs. Easy to run around with all the confidence in the world when you can do literally anything you want (and have your gloves glued on).

Regardless, would be a fun playoff series, hope we make it that far.

Bonus moral victory: no EN goal!

I still don't like our chances with 3defensman and this bottom six.

Brown on the top line just isn't an option if the team wants to compete in the playoffs.
 
schenn is so shaky with the puck; is it me or does he always hang on to the puck an extra half second then he really needs to?

and Mcnabb? Jesus no words can describe his shaky play and tendency to rack up the minor penalties. we're gonna be in deep **** in the playoffs with these stiffs.

You guys obviously don't know Roussel the way central division fans do, Roussel only fights against players who are better than him. If Doughty or Lucic challenged him he would probably go, and he doesn't care about losing. He's not going to fight Kyle Clifford. The guy's entire purpose is to take the other's teams best players out of the game. Very good at it too.
 
Stars may have played a better game, but it's moot when those calls are missed. Those were more than enough to swing the game the other way.
 
A full 2 weeks of sloppy play from the Kings. They have a spot, home/road, who they play, it doesn't matter, etc. Maybe in the last week they start playing a little crisper? I think every human being knows actions speak louder than words, and they say they want to win the division or get home ice, but they're not playing like it.

The refs were bad, but the Kings need to play better. Penalties called or not aren't about who deserves what, the penalty should be called regardless, but the Kings haven't deserved to get a call for the last few weeks. I get it, go through the motions because the games are on the schedule, don't get hurt, etc, but I'll save my ire for when the Kings do a better job than the refs do.
