And they would be correct not to trade them a year after they were drafted, it does not mean Bedard and Levshunov won’t progress.I think NYR was saying this about Lafreniere and Kakko a few years ago...

He's not really a center, though they do seem to be trying to make that happen at times. Probably out of desperation.Kulich is almost a sure top 6 center , isn’t he ?. Krebs is garbage and McLeod a good 3rd C no ?
Yes and it sucks for Sabres fans because there's no other way to make their voice heard than to empty the building and not support the team financially which might lead to eventual relocation , sad stuff for the league if it gets to that , great fanbase
Same thing that happened with Eichel. No one believed Sabres fans on how good he was because no one watches Buffalo play regularly.Franchise defender that the second he joins a semi-competent organization will be viewed as the same tier as a young Hedman.
We didn't even need the Biz report to know that the clock is ticking with Dahlin.I'm gonna be honest... The last half of this Tweet reads like Dahlin absolutely went to the front office bitching lol.
He basically admitted to feeling everything Biz said he's upset about, short of admitting that he said he wanted a trade... Which Biz never said.
That sounds expensive!Or he could...you know...hire a GM that wasn't Deputy Directors of Accounts Receivable in his previous job. Or has any amount of experience.
Nah you have to pay those guys, he can't steal from Erie County and the state of NY to fund that dude's salary, can't do that!Or if he really wanted to pretend he gives a shit about winning, he might even hire a president of hockey ops too. But he won't.
Tkachuk will ask for a trade before they finish putting his name on the stall. If it's a trade they obviously need a defenseman back, a top4 defensive defenseman. And then someone really good. Like, I don't know, Zub + Tkachuk...
That’s not really fair to pin on Dahlin. But I wouldn’t want dahlin if he quit on the Sabres. Be the solution. They’ve given him like every opportunity and an amazing deal. I don’t get what the problem is.
You were talking about the value, and that would be the value. If Chicago should trade them or not is a different story and I agree that they probably shouldn't. Bedard obviously has crazy potential and it would make no sense for Chicago to move away from that based on where they are right now.And they would be correct not to trade them a year after they were drafted, it does not mean Bedard and Levshunov won’t progress.
Jack will be in Boston/NYR in 2027probably wants to go to Vegas to win with Jack
I don’t believe anything Biz says.
Dahlin denied something that Biz didn't even say. If english was his first language, I'd suspect he did that on purpose.I hope Dahlin goes on their show and tells Biz to GFH.
Sabres fans just say that every time they hear something they don't like. "Fake news!"I'm always curious when people make comments like this. Not about Biz specifically, but about not believing what someone is reporting.
What does it mean exactly? Do you think that Biz is blatantly lying and making something up? Do you think there is some truth and he is exaggerating and filling in gaps? Or do you think he believes he is telling the truth but the person who delivered the news to him is lying?
I see reports or comments from either analysts, insiders, etc --- "I don't believe anything he says." Mirtle, Pagnotta, etc. The idea that they're just straight up lying to me is more outlandish. Maybe they're misinformed and a source is playing with them?
Doubt it. Cap is going up and that’s going T be the going rate for top linersThat 11 mill cap hit might be hard for a good team swallow

The report wasn't that he asked out. It's that he will ask out if things don't change soon, and Dahlin didn't deny that.
Also, I'm sure Dahlin is a fan of the show and probably likes Biz.
That’s what they said according to the tweet.I'm gonna be honest... The last half of this Tweet reads like Dahlin absolutely went to the front office bitching lol.

I know Biz is right because that's what any player in Dahlin's position would do. His agent would not be doing his job if he didn't help convey some version of this message. But I understand that it's comforting to just assume Biz is lying. So now we're parsing out what Biz said vs. what Dahlin said in response to show that Biz is somehow still right? C'mon man.
Yeah, he didn't say he wants out -- he said he will want out if things don't change quickly. There's a major difference in those two messages. That’s what they said according to the tweet.
Dahlin has told GM he wants change or he will want out. That’s a trade isn’t it? He’s not RFA.
Could make the same AI prompt for Sabres Captains. None have lasted more than 3 seasons since Pat LaFontaine 1992-97.I feel like you can just set up an AI Sabres news website to post an article yearly and just input Sabres first round pick minus six years from present time wants out because of situation not improving. Post it every year and it would take a long time to not be true. I guess not though since they already traded Cozens for next year's article. Maybe switch the AI to Sabres leading point scorer or TOI leader or most first stars or something?
I feel bad for them because Buffalo people really love sports. For many it's their entire identity outside of work, not just a flex to get tickets like maybe New York or LA when they don't really care about the team. My dad's entire mood has been dictated by how the Bills are doing for decades and we're not even from Buffalo (though not too far away across the border).
I grew up loving Hasek but wasn't a Sabres fan in my heart. Hate seeing them be this shitty despite doing two rebuilds the "right way" and put together good rosters that constantly underachieve due to cultural issues (hiring bad coaches, not having enough vets, buffalo weather being gross with no real lifestyle upside, who knows?).
If I had to guess it's karma for Briere being such a dirt bag rat player though. Philly are also suffering the effects. Arizona even lost their team. Habs even bottomed for extending his career and Colorado won a cup for making him retire.
The logic is there. Las Vegas Thunder folded after he played there. Springfield Falcons eventually succumbed and folded. Drummondville have long suffered as a Q team, finally starting to recover 30 years after Briere left.
Berlin did actually win 7 of the previous 10 championships before Briere went there, and had a six year drought after he left. COVID broke the curse though and they've won 3 of the last 4. SC Bern won a bunch since he left though and have had seemingly no ill-effects. Buffalo should ask them how to deal with the curse.
