Excited to see this guy play pro, high IQ guys with mobility this good usually adapt fairly quickly.

Playing PP1, logging heavy PK minutes, not much more you can ask of him this tourney.

Very Very Good tournament for Willander. Smooth, Strong and Smart.

All situations defender for Team Sweden and being tasked to shutdown the other teams top forward.

He is ready to turn pro this spring in my opinion. Might be the prospect that is best set up to succeed as there is a chance he gets paired with Quinn Hughes for the next decade.

He wás never going to win Dman of the tournament without the fláshy stats, but I believe he was the steadiest, game controlling defensemen in these games. I believe the coach thinks so too looking at his deployment. One of the best defensive prospects out there ready to step in right now, top 4 next year.

True. We already have one of the top two best flashy stats guys in the league. A steady big minute guy is exactly what Vancouver needs.

I Like what I see. I would have like to see him more physical and implicated at some point but it was a good tournament for him.

He reminded me a little bit Cam York

Without any hyperbole I can say he's already a big upgrade on Vinny and Noah and quite frankly with how God awful Soucy has been and without any other moves, Willander would be ahead of him in short order.

Watching this team blow lead after lead because Soucy, Noah and Vinny can't clear the puck or make a five foot pass under minimal pressure is slowly crushing my soul.
