D Ondřej Ruml Pardubice U20 Czechia DRAFT 2026

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

I wanted to start a thread about Ruml after a few preseason games - he had a great start to the season. I decided to wait until the end of the U17 tournament, where the Czechs even though we the overall championship to the Americans because of their loss to the Swiss in the first game, looked very spectacular. In the next three games, the Czech Republic scored 24 goals against their opponents (including 8 against the Americans), and Ruml became the Czech team's top scorer among defensemen, ahead of Kachlir.

Ruml has been playing alternately for both U20 and "dorost" in the new season. When he plays for "dorost" he is usually the most visible player on the ice. And in today's game, thanks to three points (2+1) from their leading defenseman, the Pardubice team won (great goal after a lightning-fast run).

Today, all three Czech defensemen who will be contenders for high positions in the draft-26 distinguished themselves: Kurka, Kamas and Ruml.
...Here Ruml bursts into the opponent's zone like lightning, shoots and scores his third point in today's game.
