I don’t think so. He’s too exciting as a D.

I have to say that a lot of those goals seem so easy. Yes, he needs somewhat of a ability to be there but the defense in this league? And in many of those goals he seem to be totally alone getting a saucer pass and having a lot of the net open?
What is the level of the OHL this year?

No matter what, I like his success and will follow him with excitement.

Either way, for his age and as a defenseman, his scoring has been very high. Might suit him better than Liiga.

Sure it’ll suit him better but
1) He never even was promoted to play in the Liiga
2) It’s probably not the best for his development, he needs to learn to play more responsibly

They already know - obviously,
it doesn't take genius to notice that, he has already scored
9 goals from that spot (7 from PP). Through 11 games...

Exactly. Just like Ovechkin who scored a bunch of PP goals in his first few games and then just couldn’t score ever again.

Sorry, a small error. He still does have the lead in OHL PP goals, my mistake.
But he did lose his CHL PP goal lead.. which is 11 PP goals now,
Kärki is 2nd in CHL PP goals with 9.

His 14 goals is 2nd most in the entire OHL
