Olympics: Czechs vs Swiss Part 2!

The disallowed goal was very bad, waaaaay to quick to blow the play dead when Genoni clearly did not have control, but the boarding was pretty textbook, I think.

Nice PP... did it all perfect. Puck tapped in behind Hrubec's back with him having no clue where it was. I only mention this because that is IDENTICAL to the first period PP goal the Swiss scored last time.lol

I like Hrubec.. but I don't love him.

As I type this.. Swiss go up 2-1.

Beautiful minute for the Swiss. Now Czechs will be chasing the game.

Penaly, bad kill and then poor D play.. 1 minute and now 2-1.

Czechs score a goal and shit the bed instnatly!

More of an NHL thing maybe.. a lot of fans would blame the player for being so far from the boards. Blame the victim is a big thing in NHL circles.lol
 
3 goals is more than the entire game last time and a disallowed one.. so more offence.

Czechs are in panic mode and Swiss are fully in control!
 
Hrubec almost let in a third goal.. totally missed it and it hit the post.

5 goals last game and 2 in this period.. 7 goals in 4 periods of play against. Not all his fault but he is a Czech and KHL champ and was chosen because of clutch play.

Poor D play as well. He was the right pick but isn't delivering.

3 bad ones against Russia... at least 1 bad one here.

Oh yeah the classic "but but he put himself in a bad position, it's your responsability not to be thrown into the boards, what was my guy supposed to do, just let him skate head down forever? NO HIT LEAGUE SNOWFLAKES what's next communism?"

Good job by Swiss to get exactly what they want.. a lead.

Czechs score first and that is key. Time to regroup and get some offence going and hope we don't get scored on while doing that. I'd encourage patience. Swiss will play very disciplined now!

FTR.. before tourney, coach said he'd quit if they didn't make the Quarters. Just saying.lol
 
Solid match so far, more events in one period than the whole last match shootouts included.
Good start from the czechs, then the PP goal shifted the balance a bit.

Jerabek for a dumb trip...

If I see the Swiss score a 3rd straight pp goal as a tap in behind Hrubec who has no idea where the puck is, I may puke.

This look very bad for Czechs. Hopefully, they can reverse the course of the match. I have faith in Krejci. Players like him have ice water in their veins and you never can write them off. Fingers crossed.
 
Great pressure from Zohorna's who I think got double shifted.

Jerabek with antoher stupid (questionable) tripping penalty. This is the guy Pesan felt was our PP1 and all minute guy. I can't think of one reason to make Jerabek better than the other 5 D.

Noticed Lenc in the game.

Desperate times indeed... some good pressure and Genoni has played very well.

PP for Swiss. I'd shorten Jerabek's ice time significantly.

Sobotka in Top 6 while Chlapik leads the same league in scoring really stands out.

Jasek at hoome as well. for Repik or Lenc.

Speaking of which, the other young guy is a fav of mine.. where is Spacek???? I know he's there.
