I am a simple man. I am just pleased that as a Czech fan, the past few years have led me to think that there has been a genuine metamorphosis in the sense that I no longer expect a class-difference embarrassment. In the past, a 0-6 against the US or Canada would have been no surprise. Now, I would be surprised. I really think we have caught up. I know we are no Canada or US at best-on-best junior level, but I genuinely feel we can be competitive in ANY game. Favourites - sure, maybe not. But I fancy some sort of chance at least to win, which did not use to be the case. That alone is pretty sweet.

Slovaks still dominating Chechia in the weight department with 86kg to 82kg. Chechia is as light as Kazakhstan, that's pretty crazy.
