The more I watch the Czechs the more I am absolutely convinced they can win this thing.

I could tell midway through the first in the exhibition game against Canada that it was a good team with a lot of potential and said so, they are realizing that potential.

We have yet to beat Sweden, Canada, USA or Finland. I do love the team though. One of my all time fav round robins. But top 2 in a round robin is like winning the Pacific Division in the regular season.lol

Quite happy with the period so far. We shall see. Took us over 15 years to beat Sweden. It was one of our 3 monkeys... couldn't beat Canada, Couldn't beat Sweden, couldn't medal. Those 3 monkeys are finally dead.lol Now it's no gold in 24 years. That is a big ass monkey.lol Next years team projects to be better so maybe Minnesota!

PK is good... PP is not. We are good at neutrizing the top guy last few tourneys but it's hard to contain a Dman dynamo like that. Like, how do you shadow a Dman?lol

That was a great period of hockey.

Intense period. This tournament often has a chaotic feel to it. That felt like pro hockey. Czechia has been the most impressive team to this point in the tournament for me. Especially when you factor in expectations (at least my own)

Gustafsson, Bergqvist, Granberg terrible so far
