I knew next to nothing about their team going into this but even in the first game against Canada I went.."hey, they ain't bad, they are organized and a good skating team"I THINK @GermanSpitfire said Latvia was a team to be reckoned with before this all started.
I felt the same way when they played Canada and I agree on the team's play.I knew next to nothing about their team going into this but even in the first game against Canada I went.."hey, they ain't bad, they are organized and a good skating team"
Easy team to like too, they play hard but without over the top rough stuff and it's not like they are clutching and grabbing their way through games to survive.
NGL I was almost convinced to buy some. Putting up some shelves this afternoon and the alien tape looks easy!go figure. i feel these commercials are being shown every game presumably to brainwash us into being alien tape enthusiasts
I think it's a disease with teams it happens so often.I felt the same way when they played Canada and I agree on the team's play.
However, I do NOT like how they are playing now. What do they say in the NFL ?...
Playing prevent defense only prevents you from winning.
they do make it look awfully efficient in the adNGL I was almost convinced to buy some. Putting up some shelves this afternoon and the alien tape looks easy!
The Czechs should have been given the option of a 2 minute minor instead of the penalty shot.
LOL. Dive.
Cool. TBH, I wasn't sure which way was best. That's always an option in USA Hockey rules. Not sure about IIHF rules. At high-level play, you always take the penalty shot though, since statistically you score on about 30-35% of penalty shots. Power play percentages are much lower than that, even when you have a hot power play.
I expect a goal and then a crazy final minute with the goalie pulled.the chances of a czech comeback are very low at this point
