Tim's actually had a pretty solid game today. The rare word of praise from me on Tim Harnisch.

But everyone else has looked like sluggish. And not very crisp. We just need to come out and have a good 4th period. All game we've been giving up ridiculous breakaway opportunities, leaving guys open, and getting beaten by apparent moves. One solid, well-fought period would be nice to close out the tournament.
 
Austrian goalie has been great but that third goal was on him.

I told everyone we need more Kubicek.lol

Priryk with some great looks.

Glad Lang is getting rewarded.

Hopefully this gets Has rolling a bit.

Austria need 5 goals to make quarters.

Please no more injuries and let's get Gut, Pytlik and Krutil back. I'd like to see our best possible squad lose 7-0 to Canada or Finland.lol

Was just going to see an analysis on his game from a goalie person. On the plus side, he's made a lot of saves despite constant pressure and people on top of him.

At the same time, thought the point shot from Lang was one that should have been handled.

Any goalies out there?

I agree. I don’t understand why he dropped down the glove on the first goal. That’s a definitive mistake he shouldn’t have made. He saw the shot all the way. Keep the glove above the pads and you block it.
Third goal he gambled with the stick and missed because he was too slow/tired going left to right. He made that save several times in the previous games.
 
I will say.. I expected more from Mysak. Scored in first period against Sweden but I can't say he's tilted the ice or been impactful on offence. I may be missing other contributions though. He does seem like a very solid player in general.

1st goal, meh, bad reaction.
3rd goal is bad for sure. He tried to push it away and put it in his net.

Other than that, he's poised, good glove, good read. A little slow to react on rebounds tho. Definitively the only decent player on Austria right now.
 
Austria getting screwed big time here. Not that they ever had a chance to win...still...kinda mean to just gift the Czechs two goals...
