"Pavel Buchnevich The Fake"
Not all players pan out. Getting a few high draft picks is a good start.so.. what you are saying is that one will be bust injury prone and one really good player?

Sprynar is a lot of fun to watch.
Pekar has been pretty good in my opinion. It’s always a tough transition from Europe to the dub. He’ll be even better next year. As to Zahejsky, he’s got the same transition to manage plus coming back from injury. It’s tough. Give him time.OHL - with Sale in AHL and Jiricek injured not much is going on for us here. Hamara is playing good, but that is to be expected since he is 20 already. Zidlicky looks like he may be a competent bottom 6 guy for WJC. Fibigr had disappointing start to the season, but it's looking like he is getting better. Others are really forgettable.
QMJHL - Probably the least interesting for us. Except for Melovsky I really don't see anyone with even remote chance to play NHL one day here.
WHL - most Czechs here so logically most interesting. Stancl and Rymon are doing great. Expected a bit more from Jecho and Holinka, both should play above ppg. level right now. Petr at ppg is nice, but I kinda see him as average ELH player at best. Pekar and Zahejsky so far disappointing and I hope the will get better.
AHL - I will just name players which I think have chance to play NHL regularly one day: Jiricek, Kulich, Sale, Svozil, Spacek, Klapka, Sapo, Chmelar, Alscher, Dvorak
I think so. As I’ve been saying, slowly eating into the reputation of Finland. I don’t think Canadians or Americans or Swedes or Russians are losing draft slots.I do wonder if we are building up some reputation now and some of our lower guys are getting looked at closer. Eg. I didnt' think Ales Cech would ever be taken (no offense, I like him).
This is a great writeup... it gets depressing after 4 though. I love all those players but we are looking at round 4 to undrafted.
Toss in a Galvas on his second go round (maybe) and I think we're looking at:
1 first rounder (Mrtka)
maybe 3 more in top 100? Nestrasil, Cihar and Psenicka?
The Benak wild card is anything from 1OV to undrafted and working at Tesco this summer.. I have no idea.

Last year was 13. Hoping for 10 this year which feels a little low given the Hlinka and U20 success.
And 10 would be a top 3 haul it n last decade I believe. Our first rounder streak seems safe. Now for these guys to start cracking some NHL squads! It kinda does, but I would say after the 6, Poletin and Psenicka both look solid too. It sucks cause it could have been 8 solid looking prospects but Zahejsky and Pekar completely faded in CHL.
But there is still Galvas and I thing Svec has a good chance to be drafted. Mastalirsky can go to in late rounds as overager I think.
So 10 guys is realistic we will see.

Are you f***in kiddin me that this is yet another son of famous Czech hockey player, who is not playing for us but for f***in USA??? .... unbelievable reallySychora i think will be the first Czech off the board in my view . NHL mid season report had him in third round but he’s trending up and he can score . Hes only playing i guess 12-14 min a night at sioux city so hes producing at huge pace for his ice time . Tough to find wingers like him with elite scoring touch he has shown . I think he goes early second round and Benak goes in third round because he won’t play center in the nhl .
This seems about right. Skok may get looked at too. Overages are unpredictable too.1st round: Mrtka
2nd round: Cihar, Benak
3rd round: Nestrasil, Poletin, Psenicka
4th round: Galvas
5th round: Svec, Stebetak
6th round: Mastalirsky
7th round: Pekar
Undrafted for now: Zahejsky, Pavlik, Mikel, Cerny
And please let's not do another Benak round, I believe, it may be completely wrong, but I believe lol
You can have him. Take Fischer too.Are you f***in kiddin me that this is yet another son of famous Czech hockey player, who is not playing for us but for f***in USA??? .... unbelievable really
Anyone here care to tell me how many it is at this point? 5-6 already in last few years
STOP f***IN STEALIN OUR PROSPECTS !!!!
The 2 years in domestic league does not help Czechs at all.lol No top prospect outside of the ones already in Czech wants to play in the U18/U20/Extraliga for 2 years. You can have him. Take Fischer too.
I wish the IIHF rules allowed for this. I’m all for less stringent requirements, like football. Think the current rules favor the bigger countries like USA and Canada too much, and hurts the smaller countries.
I want Bonk too lol.You can have him. Take Fischer too.

Another right shot. You guys have those. Fischer is a left shot, right?I want Bonk too lol.
I dont think it matters at this state of czech D. I would take any D right now with potential to be a regular NHLer.Another right shot. You guys have those. Fischer is a left shot, right?
