This unknown team Finland is so good. They are playing perfect hockey. No mistakes, every player knows where to be. They are like robots with hockey software in their heads  I like them :thumbu:
The "Blue-Machine"! ;)

Probably Russians doesn't care much about this tournament, play half baked effort. or Maybe the coach told them don't give 100% but play whatever you feel like.

Looking in the past. Russia vs Finland in important WHC-Games are very special.

There you have it, your dark horse at the coming WHC! :D

Hägg has been demoted to the third pairing.

Lindholm with Kempe and Lindblom. Hörnqvist with Pettersson and Bratt.

I don't agree with Grönborg changing the line Bratt - Pettersson - Nygård. That line looked very good against Russia and i think they should have stick to that. Hörnqvist very good also ofc. But don't underestimate chemistry.

Wow, the best anthem singing ever. Violin and a great singer. You apparently have to go to the Czech Republic to hear a good version of the Swedish anthem. Great intro.

When I visited Prague, all they played were hits from the 80s-90s in the grocery stores. Chimp approves the Czechs.

Hörnqvist is too slow for the top 6 on big ice outside of the powerplay. Hägg and Svedberg are awful. Why you would play a slow Hägg with an even slower Svedberg is beyond me.

Look what happens when you don't play these games in the decadent capitals. Insane pressure and a great atmosphere. Compare that to Sweden playing against Russia in Stockholm. Completely dead crowd. Even though I think Prague would've created alot more noise than Stockholm. A dead city.

This game has so much more intensity than Sweden - Russia, because the crowd cares.

Rasmussen has been the best player for Sweden so far.. by a mile.

Sweden is struggling to get into their possession game, while the Czech team is going full throttle. Holy hell what a pressure. I expect things to change in the 2nd period. No way the Czech team can be this dominant for the entire game.

Swedish commentators are amazed how much better the Czech team is playing against Sweden, compared to the passive affair against Finland.

Czech should slow it down otherwise they will out of gas by game 3.

Disagree. The crowd in Globen was excellent against Russia. Full house, tickets for kids were cheap.

That was the silliest ref call I've ever seen. Loui Eriksson sliced a skate through the crease, without interrupting anything or anyone. Immediate call by the ref. WTF?!

Compared to a real crowd like this? Utter dogshit. A latté crowd isn't getting a diploma for participating. The pressure would've been immensely better in any Swedish town but the city of Stockholm. This isn't a competition with a NHL crowd. Americans make more sound in a cinema than a hockey arena. Fans in Stockholm cheer when there's a goal or a reason to, not to get the team going. Stockholm is a good crowd internationally, compared to this it's a joke.

This game: "I can't hear myself think."
Stockholm: Plenty of room (like 85% of the game) for groups of kids to yell: "Andra sidan är ni klara?". LOL!

Oh how surprising the first PP has no one transport the puck.

ok that make sense, the SVT commentator just said that the czech players are basically fighting for their spot in the final roster, thats why the intensivity.
